Bro you're really lucky because normally those guys over the phone don't tell you anything unless you're an inland applicant. I actually don't know how long I've been in SS. I thought I was in SS since March that was according to my GCMS notes. But then yesterday London VO replied to my lawyer's status query that my security check was only initiated in June. I was literally dumbfounded after hearing that as it's been 17 months since my AOR. That's why I have to wait on my CBSA notes to arrive, hopefully this week. They asked me for 30 days extension which is already over by a week, So hoping for them to turn up this week.
By the way, have you ordered CSIS notes?

Hi
Good day to you.

I am asking below questions you may have replied earlier but this will help who are new or are currently in this situation.

I got my e-AOR on October 2nd 2018 and my questions are regarding travel afterwards.
My application is PR- PNP with one dependent (Spouse). I am currently in Qatar but originally from Pak. Now my wife wants to travel to Qatar from Pak to see me and she will be with me for two months.
Q1 Should we tell VO by raising CSE that she has travelled out of Pak though she will be back after two months? In two months we can expect only R-10 & medics done by VO.

Q2 What if during this two months we receive Biometrics letter/notification? Can she get her fingerprinting in Qatar and will it impact if we do not tell about her travel to Qatar? This is not her change of address.

Q3 After two months she will go back to Pak and if we tell VO about her travel will it trigger PCC from Qatar and Pakistan? We have upfront provided our schedule-4 including travel history.

I hope my questions are clear enough for you to answer.

Thank you & Best Regards

I feel sorry for your situation, but at the same time, I don’t know if I am the lucky one. I was in security screening since June according to my CBSA notes, don’t know how long it’s gonna take, hope we all get our good news soon!

Yeah same bro, now I'm counting June for myself as well until the CBSA notes arrive. And yes hoping for a good news soon.

Yes I did order them in July but the reply came back in August saying that they don't have any record of my file. How about yourself?
I ordered one several days before and haven’t got them back. I think if CSIS doesn’t have your record, maybe you’re not in SS, but I’m not sure.

It takes almost 40-45 days to receive them. And that's what I thought as well but then when I ordered CBSA notes I found out that I was in SS. It's not always that files go to CSIS or high probability that until that time CBSA didn't transfer my file to CSIS. So it could be either of the two reasons and that's why I really need my CBSA notes to establish what's going on.

I see. Hope I can receive mine on time and find out what’s going on here

Dear Sir,

Hope you are doing well. I am asking you couple of question for my friend who recently received his PPR email. He is in Perth, Australia at present. He submitted his application while he was in Nepal and then moved back to Perth in few days after. He raised the CSE about change of address and mobile number. However, he has received the Passports request from New Delhi instead of Perth VAC. What should he do here? Is it an absolute must that a Nepali citizen should send his/her passport to New Delhi office?

My another question is, he had included his wife in the application. When he went to inquire at Perth VAC, the sole office there told him that they can do the Passport stamping work, however, as his wife was included in his application, he need to bring the family information form and the passport stamping could take up to 3 months. I read his PPR email and there are no forms to be filled and included with the passport for stamping. Please let me know what my friend should do here. Thank very much for you suggestion in advance.

Please help! We are a couple applying the PNP PR and I am the PA. I received the GCMS notes and I passed the eligibility, criminality, medical and info sharing. My security check started from 9 Aug and in the part of the Admissibilities, it shows "security" under my name but my partner's info has been removed. I'm wondering how I could know if we are not in the security screening? It's been more than 4 months that we passed our medical examination.

mention on my work exp letter that my earning is based on ××% commissions on sale and I earned x
You can get a letter. What is essential is that you were paid. You can also then explain it in the LoE.

Hello @legalfalcon,
I tried to search the thread for a definite answer but I am confused now.
I did upfront medical exam for me and my wife last week.

For me, Upfront medical type: Non EDE, Student
For my wife, Upfront medical type: Non EDE, Visitor

The nurse said it should be this way since our current status in Canada is student for me and visitor for my wife.

Now I see members talking about refusal because of choosing the wrong medical type.

Can you please advice so I can call the clinic back before they submit the medical report.

I believe I answered your question on one of the chat groups or on FB

1. You can travel and there is no need to inform VO. Information to Vo is only required when you change your country of residence, or have to update your address.

2. You can send a CSE and request that the biometrics be taken in a specific country and they will change the VO.

3. No. see above.

1. raise a CSE and inform IRCC of change of country or residence and they will send new instructions to send passport to the VO in Australia.

2. Your question is not clear, did he add his spouse after the application was processed?

Only if its been 3-4 months after eligibility, you may be in SS.

So According to you by getting the letter and explaining that How I was paid some months and I was commission based and consider my income as yearly and not monthly will suffice?
