Hi all,

I took photo for PR application yesterday at Costco.

However, when I opened the envelope at home, stamp on the backside seems like bit blurred.

It does not look clear to read where I took it.

Only "date" and "postal code" are clearly visible.

Should I take a picture again..?:(

You should be okay.

So, when you submit documents for the PR application, do you have to scan the back of the photo as well? (that gives all the details of the person in picture)

Are you still at ITA stage? I thought you were talking about PPR photos. You don't need stamp for ITA photos in the first place.

Yes, I am in the ITA stage.

However, I need to provide the same photos as I uploaded in the application in the PPR stage in later, right?

In this case, is it better to take new photos?..

No, I haven't applied yet. I just took a photo in advance.

Where did you get the information? There is no relationship between photo at ITA stage and photo after PPR. PPR may take 6+ months to come and you need recent photo for that.
Either someone is giving you wrong information or you're misinformed. CIC guidelines are very clear. My suggestion is you spend good amount of time reading CIC website and forum here. Do not make assumptions

Oh really, I assumed that because a friend of mine got PPR request in two months later after he applied EE.

You will do yourself a big favor if you don't expect the same timeline for yourself. It may happen. But don't assume it will. You can save a lot of heartburn.
