Hi Everyone,

I am currently in post ITA stage and will be applying within 10 days. I am hoping to receive AOR within 1 day after that.

My concern is, I am scheduled to travel to Canada for official purpose in december and I will have to apply for canada visa.
Do I have to inform CIC about application of tourist visa after AOR or do I need to inform them after travel is completed; since it will change my travel history?

Please provide inputs everyone

Warm Regards,
Varun

Only your travel history prior to your AOR that counts. Also, when you apply for a tourist visa, they'll know.

You don't need to update them on your travel history after AOR.
If it's for official (business) purposes, make sure to include a letter from employer describing the nature of the business trip.
The first thing CIC does is see if you have any other existing GCMS notes, and they will then see you have a pending PR application.
Make sure you show strong ties to home country through your current employment, and that your official trip will be for a specific purpose.
