I agree with you. We are July and got AOR1. Please phone them. They tell there are 1000s of files per day to process, still stuck on July 24th. They say they prefer families but we are also families and citizens here beside above categories man.. OK . Plz phone them again and u never know a good staff member can help!

Have you tried linking to GCKey yet? I was able to link using my temporary file number (removed the X) a day before I receive AOR. A July 3 applicant just got their AOR today by the way. Please check your inbox and spam folders.

Thank you for your answer. I have a representetive so I think its her who will get the letter , but anyways Im checking too, theres nothing

I see. It's your representative who will have to give you access to the application then. Even so, you should still be able to see updates on ECAS. Just use the sponsor's info (UCI, Date of Birth, Country of Birth, Last Name)

It's not possible for everyone to link up, I tried all the combination but I was not able to connect at all. my file not found on the system. You were able to link up only because they made a decision on your file probably. 3 months have been already completed for me but still, keep faith in GOD..... :)

What are the next steps after the medical examination? Is it just the background check and then final approval?
Also how long does it usually take from the medical examination results to the final application decision?
Have any July applicants made it past the medical exam and to the next steps yet?

Yeah. After my Wife's Medicals, the file has been sent to Mississauga from Sydney. I was asked to apply for CSQ for her. Applied on Oct 09, 2018.

Hi Guru,

Regarding the File transfer from Mississauga to Sydney office, would the Sponsor/representative receive an email or there is an update in the ECAS and no email is sent?

Hello shankar,

I (Sponsor) received en email with an attachment briefing all details. There is no update in ECAS or GC key on this.

July 19th applicant, called today to hear file is still undergoing preliminary check for completeness. Frustrating! My file was in the system end of August as call center could locate it then. One agent has told me file looks complete in one call, next sent an internal email last week to follow-up and the last call today I am today they are still checking for completeness. Speechless
