Same happened to me. Received medical request first and sponsorship approval the very next day.

Oh okay. Not sure, what would happen to my SA email. Mine is following a different pattern I guess. Received Medical Request on Oct 1 and No Sponsorship Approval email yet

After 2 days of calling I managed to get someone today who provided me with my application number. An hour after the call i received my AOR1.

Hey everyone...new here and looking for some comfort to be honest in all your experience. Submitted spousal application which was received by Sydney office on July 19th...no AoR yet. My husband and I had missed signing schedule A form by hand...it was signed electronically. Everything else was fune as far as we know. Its been almost 3 months and not receiving an AoR is giving me serious anxiety.

I have called twice and the last time I called the agent gave me a temporary file number. What's the significance of a temp #? I did mention to him regarding the missed signature and my fear of losing over 3 months if the application was returned. He mentioned that the file looks complete in his system and he doesnt anticipate it being returned but he cant guarantee anything. At end he said I hope you get your AoR today. Been a week again since this conversation and nothing yet. Should I be worried or the call center telling me it likely won't be returned enough safety net? Sorry just anxiety...

Hello, I am in the same boat. I am a Canadian citizen but have been living with my husband, a british citizen, for 2.5 years in England. For my proof of supporting us I also submitted bank balances (of about $38,000 Canadian savings), plus a letter stating what our plan was. I.e. what our various credentials / education was, job experience, what jobs I have already looked into etc. And also as a failsafe, if we cannot find accomdation right away, or a job right away, then we will be moving in with my mum temporarily until we do (and then provided a letter from my mother stating this was the truth).

Yes. It will be a good proof. Since you're living outside Canada, you must also include proof that you're actually wanting to go back here when the application is finished like inquiries to landlords of potential places that you'll move into, opening a bank account in Canada if the money is still not in a Canadian financial institution, etc.



You should hear something soon. We just got our AOR today. If you want, try calling IRCC for confirmation.
