Hello all,

I got the ITA and I am almost close to submission date. It's within a week and I happen to have some issues with the funds.
Should I decline the application? Does this cause any problem for the future invite or would there be less chance of my getting an ITA, if I decline? or should I mention to the officer why I had to decline?

My CRS Score: 480

Thanks

Go ahead and decline. With this score I will get ita in the next draw. Better to be safe then sorry

What is the issue with the funds ?

Justify it via a gift deed

Thanks for the reply. But it's bit complicated here. The transaction is not direct from my mother's account. Rather it's from my relatives who's here in US. They will transfer the money to my account. But we will pay them to their bank in India. This is because of the exchange rate thing.

In the LOE explain what you are doing and then include both transfer receipts showing that you paid them in India and they sent you the equivalent in the US. Also let your relatives write a letter explaining the same.

IRCC only wants to be sure that the money is not borrowed or from an illegal source.

Or can I just decline the ITA now and wait for 2 months, through which my account will have enough funds with my salary credits? This wouldn't have any issues at all. As I can submit my paystubs and everything.

Yes you can decline and wait if you don't have enough time to gather all of the supporting documents . Just know that you will still have to explain how you got the money as they want your banking records for the last 6 months. Unless the money has been in your account for 6+months then you will still need to explain so start organising to do so.
