Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2017

Morning all,

I have received the sponsorship approval on June 27, 2018 mentioning the file has moved to London office. Haven't heard since then from London office. Is this normal how London office operates & how much time they take to make progress on the file ( I mean sending the Medical, Police certificate & resume request). Thank you.

Hi Guys -

I applied for PGP sponsorship for my parents and my sister (under 19 years old at time of application) last year in August.

Visa office is New Delhi. My question is: When they ask for police clearance will I need to provide for both parents and sister (she turned 19 this year) OR just principle applicant?

I want to know so I can plan accordingly.

No, why would it be normal? It's government bureaucracy.
But it's same for everyone probably as Yulia has mentioned.

sure, you should include all your family - parents, spouse and kids = total family size

Hi any idea how many days is New Delhi visa office taking once passport is sent? My parents submitted theirs last Monday n today is Wednesday.

Hi , my mom received an email for medical furtherance to do her sputum test, i am from the first round of 2017. When were you asked to do medical furtherance and if you dont mind sharing what test was asked to be done? can you also share your timeline .

Currently parents in Canada on visitor visa
We got medical done for extension in May
Got medical request for PR in June, we sent email to cic advising parents underwent medicals in May, got furtherance letter in July.

For my dad, he has issues with heart, long standing diabetes and increased creatinine due to diabetes but everything stable. Also history of tb 20 years ago. Cic wanted letter from all doctors my dad goes to. Plus chest X-ray to be repeated in 3 months because of some scars on the previous X-ray, plus sputum test.

For my mom, cic wanted knee X-ray to rule out arthritis, my mom has no history or symptoms of arthritis though.

Everything is done other than the chest X-ray that will be done in October at 3 months time

Thank you for sharing your timeline, my mom has given her sputum will not have an answer from the hospital until end of Nov. will have to wait . I hope your dad's second x -ray will be ok and they get their visa soon.

Any idea if Parents are in Canada (Edmonton) and Visa office is New Delhi where should the need to send their passport for visa stamping ?
