I just passed the application for parents sponsorship last week to ircc ,. and I have in process application waiting for visa for my son ..
So I added all ,the family size are overall 8 person, so means I need 100k income tax to meet the LICO ..?
Sigh~~ I just did the math:
2017, you need $93,247 minimum to sponsor with family size of 8. Did you meet the LICO?

I am still trying to understand what you mean by passed.

Did you send your application last week? If you don't meet the LICO, expect a refusal.

I have a question about medical exam. Did your GCkey status for medicals update to "medicals received", and then "medical passed", or did it directly update to "medical passed" ? If it did update to "medical received", do you recall how long after the report was uploaded did it change ? Thanks

I (Y Gopichand) just entered my time line for Medical Request, I didn't do any mess with the spread sheet.
thanks, deleted from the black list :)

you can have even 5 cases, just meet total LICO and you are good
You have to include active case with your son to parents case and count son as well. thats it.

Curious if I can take several month vacation to visit my home country (I am NOT going to quit my job though), anything I will need to be aware? The sponsor is a citizen.
- If my leave is less than 6 months, am I still considered residing in Canada?
- I will have rental income during my leave and I will report it for my tax return, will the rental income consider sponsor's income when I earn it while not in Canada?

Thanks!

Not sure about first question, that is about leaving Canada less than 6 months. I don't think so. But you need to research CIC web site or google canada visa website. May be some one had answered this before.

Regarding income, it would be good question for Accountant, those are tax experts. But AFAIK , CIC needs your NOA showing income. CIC does not know/care from where this income came. Although CRA may ask you. I don't think even CRA cares if you tell CRA that, you have income from part time jobs e..g cutting grass lawns, shoveling snow etc or whatever.... Rental income also should be fine. But again better to talk your accountant

I already did ..she didn't say anything same to the tracking only

Interesting! I believe Canada post has complaints department . You had paid for the service. Canada Post has some kind of liability to track for you.

It happened with me in the past. Canada post was able to tell me that, the Package was mis-routed.. Not sure how. At least they were able to tell me that it was mis-routed and i will get with delay.

It means that he didn't get selected by the lottery system in 2018.

So he can try next year. 2019 PGP will be first come first serve instead of lottery. (assuming that he meets the LICO in his previous 3 years NOA)

Hi all, I am submitting the sponsorship application for my parents. I am planning to pay fees (without RPRF) at this stage. I know it is going to delay my application (as per CIC). will it be a significant delay? months or years? Any ideas?thanks

they will ask more tests I believe
yes yulia, they have asked for more tests, but I do not know what they asked for completely but rheumatologist cunsaltant. I have to go to panel physician to find out more. my mom is in Canada with me visiting going back in a month and all these tests are very expensive because there is no coverage. I have been told that tests could be done by any panel physician and it does not have to be the same doctor who performed the original medical. is that correct?

does anyone out there have been asked about the similar test or report any info is much appreciated.

thank you
