Has anyone been successful with this type of application ?

I was sponsored but marriage failed and now I want to sponsor my new husband who is a failed refugee claimant.
I will appreciate any type of advice and response .

mARRIAGE FAILED= not CLEAR did u get divorced? Sponsor husband? Did you remarry? Failed refugee? was he sent back /deported?

mARRIAGE FAILED= not CLEAR did u get divorced? Sponsor husband? Did you remarry? Failed refugee? was he sent back /deported?

My ex husband sponsored me but he was abusive. We had a joint Divorce.
My new husband is a refugee claimant who was refused. He is going through appeal at the moment .

Definitely going to be RED flag. 1st it depends how soon R U sponsoring after arriva/PR here. If they thought it is OK, then if after divorce >>already married to new husband who was a rejected Refugee person from Canada >> they will Q many Qs will arrise. Finally if the marriage is GENUINE U will end up having him here ,may take longer than 1 year though

Right because that's a NEGATIVE point they call it PREVIOUS ATTEMPTS in the notes of GCMS and this is not only an attempt but a big refusal or proof of his record or lies if they think. Sorry not hurting you anyways

I got sponsored when I was a worker in 2013 . Marriage ended 2015.
Remarried 2016

Did your ex husband sponsor you through the spousal sponsorship program? If so, when did you land and become a PR officially?

He sponsored me as a worker in 2012. Got my PR 2013.
Divorced 2015

Then 1st part sounds quite good. But they will still look at that. 2nd part can delay whole thing as you married some1 who has a record of refusal
Thats why a delay is expected.
