Hi There, im a Canadian Permanent Recident and my fiancé is a Canadian citizen. We have been in a relationship for 6 years and plan to get marry next year.
I applied for a regular visitor visa por my parents to visit for 2 weeks last year Christmas, this visa was denied under the explanation that the visa officer did not believe my parent would return to their home country at the end of their visa dates.
Forward to today, I been looking into the parents/grandparents super visa. I can do all the paperwork no problem, but im a little confused on the minimum low income requirements.
My question is: can me and my fiancé both provide our NOA with the application to meet together the minimum Low Income?
Do we both have to write the invitation letter on both of our behalf if so?
What are the chances of approval for this kind of visa?
My mother is a good citizen, she is a lawyer and she has been in Canada before under a single entry visitor visa. She still has my brother and other grandkids back at home to go back too, as well as a good secured job. She really just wants to visit me and my son and get to know my future husband more. We think last time, perhaps they got denied the visa application because she applied at the same time with my dad.. can this fact change your odds?
How long those this process usually takes?

PLEASE HELP ME WITH ALL THESE QUESTIONS! Thank you so much, to whomever takes the time to respond.

If you are not married or in a formal "common law partnership" (12 continuous months of cohabitation), I believe that only your income is eligible for consideration...

We are not married, but we have been together in a common-law partnership for 6 years living in the same house for 5 years.
