Timeline after uploading all documents for Express Entry

I have a question regarding the timeline for processing Express Entry applications.
I entered into the pool and submitted my application around 2 months back.

1. Will the CIC get back to me if they have any questions or need additional documentation
2. What is the timeline for processing express entry applications
3. Are there any stages in processing

I read on other people's timelines - acronyms like
IP1: N/A
MEP: N/A
IP2: N/A
PPR: N/A

Are these stages in the application process that I need to be aware of ?

1. Yes, they will get back to you if they need any additional else they will refuse/reject in case of any problem in existing documents.
