I am not sure if WES asked him or not. But some of his friends and few consultancies also said to do that. For us to get documents from mumbai University is big time consuming process, regular time frame itself is more than 25 working days or sometimes more than that... I also heard that some of the employers in Canada might ask if the education is verified. In regards to employers I am not claiming that its 100% accurate.. That is just what I have heard from people and few friends. Plus I have a relative out there who has a Canadian Masters and he also suggested to get the bachelor's evaluation done just to be on safe side.. Since MU takes so long to give the documents I just decided to do all at once in the beginning itself than doing it at the last minute if asked for. The timeline remains the same doesn't matter how many marksheets or transcripts you send to WES. This is what my friend said who has already done is Master's Evaluation from WES.

The reason for verification depends for every application. If Wes gets any doubt, they verify it with univ. However, the reason is not disclosed to the candidate. In my case I just received an email saying that my application is on hold due to verification

My current status is that "we have received the documents and reviewing it. you don't have to do anything at this time" This has been my status from 9/6.. They got my documents on 9/4... I am also waiting for the next update..
No I think they work from Mon- Fri.. Atleast their phone number is reachable from Mon - Fri.. thats why I am guessing they don't work on weekends..

I have got my sealed transcript from the degree college. When I went to Churchgate (Mumbai University) they are asking me whether to open the sealed envelope or not given by my college? I am in a confused state now.
Also, do the transcripts needs to be evaluated from both degree college and university?
Any assistance is highly appreciated.

I am from Mumbai University. When I got my marksheets attested from university, they only attested my first and final year ones. the rest of them I got attested from my degree college.. I think if you have got transcripts from your degree college of they are in sealed envelope, you need not submit that to MU. You might have to take copy of your first year and final year marksheets along with degree certificate and get it attested from MU. I was told 25 working days for me to receive it back from MU.. Also I got it done at Kalina campus..
Also when you open your account on WES, it tells you the exact requirement of documents as well as per the University that you studied at..
i am on the same boat, my masters documents was delivered to WES on 16th august and bachelors on 4th September. on 5th sep I have received email from WES that they put my status on hold due to secondary verification issued to himachal pradesh university. up on checking with university their reply is WE DID NOT RECEIVED ANY THING VIA MAIL OR POST. Dont know what to do now?

I have sent only my Masters for evaluation (Australia) - because so many people told me that sending your 3 year bachelor's can get an incorrect evaluation to 'to or more postgraduate certificates' or something similar. Didn't want the risk! Let's see how it goes.

Hi Amin, Thanks for sharing your timeline. My last update from WES was that "we have received your documents and reviewing it. on 9/12/2018 (Second time). I am hope that I get the next update soon.
The evaluation takes 20 business days when they accept your documents after review and start the evaluation. So the timeline is correct. Generally, it takes 2 months considering the date you courier them the documents. Still quite fast.
