The window opens for information attendees around 3/4 times a year. Around every 4 months. So you need to keep checking the NB website to see if the window is open. The last time it opened this year was 1st May.

I already submitted my full application and received my NBPNP nomination. I recently submitted my CIC PR application and am now waiting for PPR.
That is great and wish you best of luck. Let me just list down the stages.

1. Wait for NBPNP to open for Information session attendees
2. Submit the application as session attendees.
3. Wait to get nominated. Once receive nomination certificate, 600 points will be added to our CIC Express Entry profile.
4. My current score is 341 and if 600 points are added it will reach 941 so in next draw of federal CIC definitely I will get ITA.
5. Then PR and PPR.

Please correct me if I am wrong or i missed any stage. It will be helpful for others too. At what stage we would have to show the proof of settlement funds?

No NBPNP IS linked to Express Entry, it's just that they don't have an online system for the full application submission yet.

CLB 7 is IELTS minimum Band 6 for each section and Band 6.5 overall, which is quite doable. What is your IELTS Band overall?

I think you can apply for Paper based PR but it does eventually link to the CIC online system, and from what I've heard, paper based can take very long.
Unfortunately my husband doesn’t seem to be able to get a 6 on the reading section.. he’s done it 3 times it’s horrible really such a headache:(
His noc falls under 5241 & 1274 and I’ve read that they make exceptions for noc 1274.

What’s scaring me is that Nova Scotia is taking so long , I’m so afraid of them canceling category b or something, and I’m so afraid of New Brunswick not including my noc in the next session held in Dubai... after getting all the paperwork ready ... everything seems to be on hold. Immigrating to Canada has been our dream since 2 years now.. it took us a year to get our diplomas from our university in Cairo(horrible experience)

Until you receive the confirmation email inviting you to the session, there is no surety.
But receiving this email is a good sign.
My friend, who had signed up for the Job Fair session here in Dubai about 2 weeks ago has also received this email yesterday.
In order to attend the Express Entry Information session and Job Fair,do we need two different invitations ?. Are they happening on the same day ?
When is the Express Entry information session is planned ? is it on 23, Sunday morning ?.
Could someone answer ? . I had applied for both but yet to hear anything back .

Yes, these are the stages in a nutshell :)

PoF needs to be shown when submitting full application to NBPNP and CIC PR application stage

What is the main issue he has with the reading section? IELTS General is usually simpler than Academic - have you guys thought of maybe doing for a couple of training classes for IELTS? I don't think they will remove the IT NOCs from their in=demand list - from what I have been reading and hearing, IT is still a big pull in NB.

Don't give up, just be patient.... that is what this process has taught me, honestly. LOTS OF PATIENCE required :(

My noc is 1241 which is administrative assistant so I’m keeping my fingers crossed

NOC 1241 has been on their in-demand list since 2015 when the EELMS started .. so I think you are good to go! :) God willing
Oh wow that’s sooo good to know :)
I hope you’ll still be on the forum when the next ee session are taking place

I shall definitely try to remain active in the forum :)
Since I finally have gotten to submit our PR application, currently I am in a waiting stage until the processing from CIC is done:rolleyes:
Oh I’m super happy for you.. hopefully hopefully hopefully I’ll be able to update you with some good news.

I’m wishing Nova Scotia will open soon since it’s been more than 4 months since it last opened for intake. It’s very frustrating since there are no seniors active on any of the Nova Scotia threads :(

Holding thumbs and praying for you and your hubby! Hopefully everything will work out and soon you will be on your way to achieving your Canadian dream

I gave up on NS a long while back lol - when they removed our NOCs from their in-demand list :(

Oh no.. they did ? But I guess it worked out for you at the end:) with the New Brunswick session.
That scared me a bit ... yikes , I’ve been waiting for Nova Scotia to open since the beginning of August... I don’t know why they haven’t opened for intake yet...

Another update though on the New Brunswick ee session.
I sent an email asking about the invitations and they answered back saying they will send them around next week.
I’m pretty sure they’re not going to send me an invite since I missed the registration period, although I’m keeping my fingers severely crossed :D

Probably dealing with backlogs. Like Ontario - which havent sent out NOIs for HCP stream since March I think, although they sent targeted NOIs for French speakers and Trades Workers

Can some please share the exact location in Dubai for this session and career fair. Is it in DWTC? I have not yet created an EE but I’m planning to open soon and I need to get an idea about their program
