Your file is not lost. The processing is slow and it is taking anywhere from 18 days to 86 days to receive AOR. Now the service agent has created a service ticket, you should get your AOR soon. Do not send another application. It will delay your processing.
Thanks you
I'll wait until the end of September to see if it's going to move

Need help:
I called CIC for child's citizenship application documents requirement. Other than passport bio page, they need one more photo identification- which could be either health card or school report card. Health card in ontario does not have photo on it. Called service ontario and they simply said no. School report card also do not have photo id.
What are the options? CIC CSA said that they are not officer and can't decide. Agree, but they are just providing same info what is available on website. PR card is not acceptable.

Any applicant in same situation?

Also I inquired about my application and its still at case processing centre and not transferred to local office.

Thanks
OHIP card has photo unless not for kids?

Hi Sunny, Thanks for the info.

I checked in my neighborhood and with new comer information center. Seems not enough information. Let me call Dixie Bloor center to see if they can help. Health card, school record won't have photo. I am fine writing explanation to CIC if nothing works. Only I am concern about return of application.

Hi, my application is "In Process" as of August 13th.

So do they not send emails for further updates? Because I didn't get an email for this (I did receive email for AOR). I just checked the government website today and found out it was already in procress. Should I continually check their website for updates to test date, etc?

I think some updates come by email. Like test invite and such...the important stuff. Doesn't hurt to check regularly though.

Hello,

My status changed to InProcess as of Aug 27, 2018. Also when I am checking my status online, I see that my home address correct, but my mailing address in wrong. Although CIC website is letting me update my mailing address online, I am wondering if CIC send anything by regular mail at early stage of the application.

Can anyone advice.

you can change the address online and if you have doubts that there might be something sent for you earlier give call centre a call to see if there was any other communication sent to you.

I checked my ECAS and it says that they sent me corresspondence on Sep 11 but I have not received anything till now. Does anyone know what does this mean. My status is in process since Aug 07.

Also, how many days should I wait to receive this corresspondence.

If you're referring to the second point in ECAS (We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 25, 2018.) then nothing actually gets mailed. It comes by email. I think that test and oath invitations come by mail, but you will receive email too.
