Hey guys!
My Temporary Work Permit (TWP) has just been accepted. It is enabling me to stay in Canada while my application for Common Law Sponsorship is being processed. This work permit expires in 2020.
My previous permit was and IEC travel visa which recently expired. For that visa, I needed to have travel insurance. When applying for the TWP, I sent confirmation that my travel insurance was paid until February next year, so they know that my insurance will run out in February. But they gave me the TWP until 2020.
My question is, do I need to keep buying travel insurance until my Sponsorship Visa is accepted? Or am I now covered under Canadian accident/emergency/health care?
