ICFAI - Unable to find in WES

Hi, I am applying for a Canada PR. I have completed my BBA through distance learning through ICFAI, Dehradun. I wanted to understand if it will be recognized by WES since ICFAI is not listed on their website. I understand that some of you have got a 'Recognized' back from WES for your MBA from ICFAI, Dehradun (both full-time and part-time); however, I wanted to know if the same is applicable for a Bachelor's degree.

I am looking to get the individual transcripts and looks like Cleartranscripts.com cannot get them from that university.

You can directly get in touch with ICFAI Hyderabad and send copies of your transcript and/or semester wise mark sheet to them requesting them to attest and send them back to you in a sealed and stamped envelope.

I have completed my MBA from IBS hyderabad. My consultancy (through which i am applying for my Canadian PR) is suggesting that i submit only my Bachelor's degree & NOT IBS hyderabad degree as IBS hyderabad is not recognised according to them. Please advise.

Consultants are dumb f***s. Send your MBA - mark-sheets & transcript (sent by Uni) to WES - It would be recognized. IBS is recognized in NAAC. All institutions under NAAC more or less get the accreditation from WES.

Did from IBS Mumbai.. Got evaluated as Canadian Masters..you are good to go...from the suggestion what your consultancy is giving I feel they are complete idiot..way better you don't waste your money with the consultants and fill the application on your own..

My wife got her MCA from ICFAI and it got evaluated as masters by ICES. In my opinion WES is crap and does not evaluate indian degrees properly.

HI deyka, I completed my PGPM certificate from IBS Gurgaon in 2015 with no degree from ICFAI Dehradun. Would my certificate qualified as equivalent? Please reply

ICFAI, isn't a recognized institution. Even 3 year MCA and other 2 year MBA or Masters programs from India are considered only as equivalent to an additional one year program with the 3 year Indian Bachelors Degree. But yes there are changes happening now, the Indian member in WES is actively supporting Corporate funded Private Universities.[Bribery I guess] The person is very vocal about Symbiosis through his blogs and it is given a recognized status. People can post their received WES Results,with a little MS Paint work for keeping the privacy, but none does.

Not only ICFAI, people who have taken degrees from Karunya University, Lovely Professional University, VIT University - None is approved.[/QUO

Is it pispossi to write to WEZ somehow to reconsider their evaluation please? Because of this not recognising my degree I am losing 8 prexiopr CRS Points which takes my total to below 435 and I will never be able to make it to Canada in my life time.pls advice.

WES has stated it will not evaluate 2 yr MBA outside of IIMs as masters. You need to try ICES or IQAS. They might evaluate it as masters
