Hi all,
I'm new to this forum.
I have a complicated situation for which I'm trying to seek answers.

I completed a bachelor of film & digital media back in 2009 in Melbourne Australia. After that did some part time work and later in Sept 2012 I started working as a Business Category Coordinator at a well known retail chain in Australia (Coles) until December 2013. In September 2014 I was offered to work as a Finance Manager in Pakistan which I later took up and officially on paper started working in December 2014 and since then I have been working as a Finance Manager. Meanwhile in July 2016 I enrolled in a masters program (master of professional accounting, ECA also done for it) which I completed in Nov 2017. This masters was completed during work. I did not take any leave.
Now my question is will they accept my experience as finance manager since Dec 2014 or only after I completed my masters?
Best Regards.

No, it should be counted from Dec’14 provided this is full time (30/hrs and more) and has been continuous for atleast for 1 yr(mere formality in your case I presume)

You look at NOC 0111

Thank you for your prompt response. I clicked the link and under employment requirements and I quote
"
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required.
What is confusing me is that it says it needs a bachelors degree in business admin, Econ, commerce or a related field and as mentioned above mine's Film & Digital media :S
very confusing.

Your masters degree should be suffice for this. U have more than 3 years of work experience with a masters degree and with all clb9 or above u would hopefully get an ita

Its perfectly fine, these are guidelines, you have a bachelors degree when you started your role in Dec'14 thats what matters from your work experience point of view
