I applied for visa on 24 july 2018 through the online method and I have also paid my 1 year's fee. On 15 august i saw , my medical was clear. My university starts in less than 15 days . How much more time should I expect as the online system takes around 35 days?

Once the medical is updated, it usually takes approximately 1-2 weeks for visa approval.

Not yet buddy, I've applied for visa on August 2nd and I've linked my application online on August 16th.
It's good that your college starts a bit late.
My classes starts on September 4th.
And do we get updates on Saturday and Sunday?

I can understand how it feels, but just send a request stating "It's been 2 months and yet I haven't heard any updates from you." Ask why there's a delay in your application. If additional documents are requested by ircc, upload ASAP.
