Thanks for your reply Shah87.
Do we need to submit FRC for newly couple? Or Does bride (principle applicant) has to submit the FRC from her parents side to show all her siblings? Or both? Or Is it optional as we are submitting her birth certificate any way and IMM 5406-Additional Family Information? Please advice and Thanks in Advance!
It's just additional proof of relationship- so one for a newly married couple would make sense. For the rest of the family, as you said, you have the IMM5406. Can everyone else on the forum share their insight on this please.

Thanks again for reply!
Correct, At the moment I am looking for feedback from someone who did not send the FRC and they were approved. Becasue it will be a lot of work and time to apply new FRC from her parents side as she don't have one.

I being the principal applicant submitted FRC from parents side in which my father is stated as the head of family and in second FRC only me and my wife are included. It takes hardly 30 mins to obtain FRC from your nearest Nadra office.

was this separate from the earlier additional docs request they sent you where they asked for notice of assement and utility bills and your T4 etc?
Yes earlier they asked for Proof of SPonsor residence in Canada. they wanted to confirm if sponsor is inside canada or not.
But in PFL , they raise concerned that in walima the people look little in number than what i mentioned in application form (250 people), same were in Nikah, they were asking why only family people are in Nikah ceremony.
Also they were asking for communication proof to know if our relationship is still going .
For all these i provided new pictures and communication proof to show them that there were much people in walima and Nikah and communication is on going.

They received my PFL response and amazingly in one day they sent me Email that my Eligibility is been cleared by Immigration Officer and BGC is in process now.
I didnt even receive Pre Arrival letter . Only through email they told me

Just wondering did you have FRC copies attested?

Hello everyone,
I am writing first time to this forum and requesting some help from experts and experienced people.
I am helping my brother (Canadian Citizen) married in April 2018, sponsoring his wife from Pakistan.
Lawyers are asking too much money so we decided to do it by our self (Is it a right decision?)
We have filled all the IMM forms for Sponsor and Principle applicant (his wife) sent us all her IMM signed forms including additional required forms for Pakistan. She also sent us all the supporting documents required for her sponsorship.
My confusion and Questions are: Someone told us you should send the family booklet from her side else your application will be rejected. What is family booklet? Is it bay form? Should we need it? please help?
To prove their relationship, we are sending WhatsApp chat records, Facebook comments from friends on their wedding, Pictures of different ceremonies held during wedding. In the Checklist form, they asked max 20 pictures. Is it OK to send more?
Is there any thing else (tips) someone like to suggest us please.
Have a great day and Thanks for reading our concern
And Here is the best advice:

DONT do it yourself..I submitted my case by myself first...but then it was returned soon after I submitted it... something unexpected was missing in the documents and I never thought of submitting that document to CIC... its a really complicated case and the waiving off of interview is important...A lot of evidence is required...

The bottom line is: Time is more important than money. Your brother will easily earn that money in Canada in less than a month which he would spend on his wife's case. But once your case is stucked or something, your brother's whole marriage life will be ruined. So, dont do it yourself. You may go to some cheap lawyer but if you do it yourself, you will definitely forget something to submit and will your file returned back to you...

they are making it strict and strict now-a-days. God bless you in making your bhabhi to come to Canada !

no that is not true at all, most lawyers are a waste of money unless you are willing to spend $5000 or more. more than 90% of the people on this forum have filed the papers themselves and have not had issues, we have had people who got their approval within 6 months and they filed the papers themselves.

just check everything carefully, and ask questions you are confused about, we are here to help. double check and triple check the checklist from CIC before applying and cover all your bases. read and read and read the posts and topics on this form, use the search button for specific questions you might have and you will find tons of answers and resources.

well may be...but submitting the case by your own self takes a lot of time than submitting it via a lawyer/consultant. A lot of questions will come to your mind while filling the forms, you end up wasting more time while submitting the questions on the forums, and waiting for responses, 2 or more people may respond differently, increasing your confusion and anguish....

Furthermore, if you are a job person, its difficult for you to have research on everything by yourself, which is not easy with the job. you will end up working 1 hour daily and more on weekends, slowing your case submission down further, whereas a lawyer/consultant does it full time because it is his job, saving your time.

I have got a PFL from LVO recently...and I am hiring a professional (yet expensive ) lawyer to handle my case, they are specialized in dealing such kinds of cases as mine (like PFL type cases). The reason I am going to the lawyer is, I cant take risk now. Its a do or die situation for me.:eek::eek:

Anyways, everyone has his own choice
