i was told by my representative that my IELTS degree is out of date after the eAPR,is it true? exactly 1 day after the 2 year period!

Well mine too but it seems that IRCC rule is. Once u have submitted eAPR it doesn’t matter if your ielts is valid or bot

do you have a source or its just a hunch? cuz my representative forced to take the IELTS 2 times to get the previous scores and told me that my ielts should be done again.

which means that the person who check your document initially will be assessing your documents to evaluate your CRS score.

The only validity that matters after you submit you eAPR is your medical & passport as the VISA they issue will be valid till your passport expires (this can be addressed too) or one year from your medical, whichever is earlier.

I was told by my genius rep that your IELTS is expecting by end of April even if you submit the application beforehand they will still ask you to re-submit he IELTS with a valid score. Thanks to @DelPiero07 who guided me on this earlier.
I doubled confirmed this by calling IRCC call center as well.

You do not need to do that once you submitted your application and have received the AoR

My IELTS was expiring on 30 Apr and I submitted my application on 6 Apr

I too once contacted an immigration consultant in fact he wasn’t a consultant but his secretary. I told him that my ielts is expiring in 2 months and my divorce is not finalized so what can I do. He checked with his boss and told me that u can’t apply anyways because your expiry date is less than 6 months old so get a new ielts and contact us.

Later on I checked myself and it’s written on Cic website that all the docs have to valid at the time of submitting eapr. So I applied 5 days before the expiry.

hey people thanks for your input but this is from the website, check this out, i think my rep is an idiot and i think you guys are mistaking too!
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...s/language-requirements/language-testing.html
Your test results must be valid (less than two years old) when you:

  • complete your Express Entry profile
  • apply for permanent residence
The Express Entry profile is valid for 12 months. Make sure that your language test results are valid for the same time period.

If your test results expire soon, you should re-take the test and update your Express Entry profile with your new test results.

Yes the profile is valid for 12 months for ITA purposes. Your score needs to be valid for ITA and submission. But it can expire once you have submitted and have AOR.

It talks about profile not the post AOR procedures

well so there is something wrong here, cause my test didnt expire until some time after i applied for PR im not sure if i got the AOR or not since my rep doesnt responds properly. all that i know is that i have applied for the PR but since my ielts is expiring during the processing time, the rep asked me to do another and i did but it took me 2.5 month.

There is nothing wrong here. Once u have submitted your eAPR and during processing your ielts expire then u r ok.

The only one who is wrong here is your counsaltant
