hahaha...GCMS notes take about 5 weeks to arrive...good luck coping with the anxiety in the meantime.
Umm getting to know that you’ve passed your eligibility and/or security should would definitely ease the nerves. Maybe not yours, but worked like a charm for me :) I might be in SS but atleast my documents are good!

hey people, i got the eAPR on 8th of may, but since i have a representative and relied on him for the information didnt know that my IELTS degree would be out of date during the process. the representative refuses to share many information with me so im in the dark and dont quite know what is happening to my process. anyhow, i got my IELTS certificate on 19th of august and sent him so that he can update the profile but i dont know what is happening really! is updating a profile or is he doing another application or what! any help would be really appreciated.

well i was told to get a new IELTS and they have sent a message to do that. the thing is that i have the IELTS should be valid through the whole processing time. tell me if am wrong.

just getting anxious everyday. so is it helpful to request GCMS notes or call CIC? which is advisable? thanks for the reply in advance.

I would advise to call CIC first...

You are wrong... IELTS should be valid before on AOR. If It expires during process it doesnt matter. All they want is if it was valid when you submitted your application

I just called CIC on the 1 613 number...got the recording which gave me the exact same information as the website a couple if weeks ago....should I call later & talk to a person to see if they have anything that is already not on the recording?
You need to call on a weekday to talk to an agent.

Your test results must be valid (less than two years old) when you:

  • complete your Express Entry profile
  • apply for permanent residence
The Express Entry profile is valid for 12 months. Make sure that your language test results are valid for the same time period.

If your test results expire soon, you should re-take the test and update your Express Entry profile with your new test results.
this is from the CIC website

Hey guys,

FSW- O Applicant,residing in India.
90 days from AOR, stuck in IP1 since 8th June.
I have an extensive travel history. Could this be a reason for me being stuck in IP1 for so long?

Thanks.
so I assume your AOR is 26th may? similar to mine? mine is extensive as well. However by Extensive i mean over 57 countries-. But none of them High Risk- unless thailand is considered one?

97 days and counting... still IP1
