Hi all,
I'm applying through a lawyer and my timeline is as follows:
Application received : Jan 30 2018
File # received : 23 March
Medical request : 23 March
Medical received : 30 April
Approved sponsor : April 4
Transferred to NDVO : April 11
Submitted forms for GCMS :July 17

I didn't get the gcms yet and also no updates on my file. But 2 days back they asked me to submit an e-tracking document of my medical..I don't have any such document with me..all I have is the medical receipt and a document (medical report client biodata and summary) with my photo and details and it also has the doctors name. I submitted that and that's not they want exactly.

Does anyone know what's this e-tracking document and why my gcms is taking more than a month to get ?
Ask your spouse to do an MP enquiry. It's much faster !
You did choose a panel physician from the CIC approved list right ? Does the hospital use the Emedical system ? I think that's what they're referring to

October 2017 applicants have just started getting their DMs. That means few more months until they pick up 2018 files

Hi Everyone,

I have applied for family class sponsorship and sent my documents to Toronto CIC in January 2018 and was received on 25th January 2018.
I got a request for medical, PCC and Schedule A on 21st March 2018 and submitted the same in the first week of April 2018.
My agent linked my application to online account but we were unable to view the upload button hence couriered my second set of documents too.
My husband received a letter from CIC on 1st May 2018 stating that my application has been forwarded to the New Delhi Visa office. Post that there has not been any update in my application.
Also, since there was an issue in my online account, I am not able to view any update in the account too.
I sent multiple enquiry emails to CIC and Delhi office but in vain.

Does anyone have any idea as to how much more time it will take for me to get my PPR request?

Also, is there a chance that I can apply for tourist(visitor) visa while my PR is being processed?

Kindly help.

Thank you.

You can try that but 90% of times they would refuse a visit visa to a visit a sponsor unless applicant is highly qualified and applies 4 a study visa; it was given to a member's spouse while she was waiting 4 processing.

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has received pre arrival services email. Can anyone shed some light on what are the wait times from pre arrival email to decision made.

Thanks

I agree the process is quite fast. I am still not sure if I will get PPR anytime now. Let's wait and see.

HEY, what is a pre-arrival??

It's a letter sent to GC key account by IRCCC informing that you can avail certain services before arriving in Canada. It's one of the letters you receive during final stage of sponsorship applications
