Hi,

Need your suggestions!

Me and my wife were in canada for a couple of years. I completed my 2-year study program and we came back home to India in June for vacation. We are now planning to travel back to canada in September.

I have a valid PGWP & a valid student TRV. I checked online - it says "TRV is a TRV" - so I hope , I should be okay to travel. Is there any restriction on spouse travel to canada? - spouse has an open work permit & TRV valid till Nov end. We have applied for PR and have AOR copy.

Thanks in Advance!!

1. Valid TRV, then she won't have any problems note though the work permit maybe cancelled on entry, as I assume you are no longer working, and for her to have a spousal work permit you have to working in a NOC A, B or O job.

Thanks. Cancellation of work permit won't be a big problem as long as she is allowed to enter canada. We have applied for EE through FSW already.
