 The Right of Permanent Resident Fee is $490.00. Please note that only Convention refugees do not have to pay this fee.  We do not accept payments at our office. Please make your payment online at https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do  If you have not already paid the fee, please ensure you do so at least 72 hours prior to the interview.  Please bring your payment receipt to the interview. We will need to confirm your fee payment to finalize your application. Failure to appear for this interview may be interpreted as evidence that you are no longer seeking permanent residence in Canada, and your file may be closed accordingly.

Why would they ask for Interview for Parent & Grandparent sponsorship?
Does it mean that they will issue the PR confirmation on the day of Interview?
Is anyone experienced this?

Hi my mom and brother did medicals in aug 1. An Specialist referral order was given to my brother and the Dr. sent all the results yesterday Aug 14 through e medical. How long does it take to know if they have passed the exam? If no, will they request further examinations before sending a fairness letter?
I hope not to get that letter... my brother is an adult with autism and moderate developmental delay

sure, if they need something more / call upfront medical/ they will send you a new request soon.

Hi all, my parents e- mails pcc and supplementary travel form to Delhi. But cic account shows under supporting documents “ replacement needed _ pcc and supplementary travel form by XYZ date. It has been 3 weeks since they emailed. What does this mean.
Coz Delhi embassy asked to mail or email.
M confused.

Its so confusing, I dont know if I should send the Passport or go to the interview first.

My parents did the medical on July 12th in India and submitted their PCC through online account on July 07th. They got the request for Medical & PCC on June 29th. Their background started on August 10th. My parents application is still in process.

My Mother-In-law got medical request on July 17th and got the medical done on the same day in Canada. CIC didnt request her police clearance but I submitted myself on June 15th. Today she got passport request.

How do you BC is started? does it say "reviewing" or got an email? This is what ours shows and I think background check is not started yet:

Have a question - my brother (age 27) has a minor development delay and he is working in joint business and not 100% reliable on parents... can we add him in parents application??

Its been almost 5 weeks now since 'Decision Made' and no email.
We had uploaded photos to MyCic at the same time as 'Decision Made' but they then requested that we mail them. We sent them by 'DHL' which only took 2 days. Tracking proved that they were delivered, but we finally received an email from LVO yesterday saying that they had not received the photos and could we send them the Tracking details etc, which we did.

30 minutes later we received another email from LVO saying that they had located the photos, resumed processing and that we will hear from them shortly.
Hopefully be completed soon.

I came to Canada in Feb 2017 and so effectively have only 1 NOA. Will I be eligible to apply for parents sponsorship?
If not can I show Tax returns from previous country of residence to meet the LICO?

My status shows as "Your background check is in process".

please read IRCC website who can apply
