Hi everyone,
My file was transfert to Mexico VO on April 10th and we haven’t heard anything yet. We just got CSQ last week. We are december 2017 outland
It is normal
Mine was trans Jan 2017 and only heard in like March that they had begun processing it. It depends on how busy they are.
I was a Dec 2016 app and was approved in Oct 2017 at the interview.

Hello everyone,
I apologize if this has been asked, there's too many pages to go through everything! I am sponsoring my husband who lives in Honduras. We are new to this process and I have read that sometimes couples are asked for interviews to prove their relationship. I don't expect them to request an interview but if they do, will it be in Mexico? This is a very expensive process lol is it common for them to request one?

For Honduras, Interviews are done in San Salvador, Salvador.

Hi there everyone... I am planning on submitting my (Mexican) husband's application to Canada (spousal sponsorship). I am very confident in our case and I am confident that all required paperwork is complete and accurate. My husband has his Passport and Birth Certificate but no Electoral Card (no tiene IFE) and hasn't had a valid one in over ten years. This would be what I'm assuming is listed as a "National Identity Document". Can anyone tell me if this will result in the rejection of our application? I have called CIC several times only to be told they have no time to talk to me via recordings. If anyone could clarify I would e forever grateful...

BACKGROUND IN CASE YOU NEED SOME
-married 4 years
-we have 2 Canadian children together (no other children with other people)
-our first and only marriage
-husband has spent his allotted 6 months/year in Canada for the last 4 years without ever going over
-husband has a valid Canadian visa issued in 2014

Good timing... i am also from vzla, app received Oct.23 send to mexico on Feb. 14 and still waiting my wife for DM....
I'm tired of waiting for the Mexicans, and I think that in 3 or 4 weeks, I'm going to quit my job in Canada and get together with my wife in another country.

You don't need to provide with the IFE, only copy of passport and birth certificate. Good luck!!!

What is your local visa office?

I got my AOR2 on July 30 :)
It is normal they start the background verification before sent paper to Mexico?
Only in my GCKey the line change

My wife is Mexican

nothing is normal in this process! yes, this can happen and does happen from time to time!

Hello everybody! I'd like to know if the people who have been previously processed in this VO received an email from IRCC saying that their file was going to Mexico or some type of notification directly from Mexico office
