As long as current EOI form and lottery stays there - will b fine for cic

they are getting a lot of junk in there draw's
if only they invite 17000 but 7000 is junk

If you are sponsoring 2 people and then it would be 4 which include you and your husband
I tried 2 , 4 and 6

2 me and my spouse
2 Parents
2 kids

no luck still. Left query with CIC via web forum

Hi Seniors and Experts, I have some questions regarding not have spouse as a co-signer and change of marital status.

Let's say I have a spouse, but I don't put him as a co-signer (my own income is enough to support my own family including spouse plus sponsored parents), then
1) He does not need to sign IMM1344 Sponsor, Sponsorship, and Undertaking, does not need to submit PR card copy and our marriage certificate, and does not provide SIN. Are these correct?
2) For Q15 on IMM5768 Financial Evaluation, which ask for Spouse's current situation, should I check Employment or leave it blank?
3) For Q16 on IMM5678 asking for co-signer's employment history, since I don't have a co-signer, I can just write NA, right?
4) if we seperate/divorce during the process, will the event make me ineligible to sponsor my parents? I don't think so as he is NOT co-signer at the beginning, but would like to double check.
5) Any other consequences if we seperate/divorce?
6) That also leads me to think, what if parents get divorce during the process, will the dependent parent be removed from the application? Can the, the principle application become a PR? Any other consequences?

Sorry guys for the long questions, but any advice is appreciated. I will try to call CIC, but I heard they may not always give the correct answer.

Still no luck .... Left with CIC by sending a web query

Thanks for your help anyways

badar14,

I had similar if not the exact problem you are having right now. IRCC web form will not help you, as they will only explain the potential causes for not being able to link to your MyCic A/C.

Try the following instead:

1) Are you using your parents (primary applicant's last name) and application number?
I the answer is "Yes". Check your primary applicant's name on his/her passport. If the passport does not specify "last" and "first" name, then CIC will use the whole name as "last name".
If that is indeed the case, use primary applicant's the entire name as his/her "last name".
2) Then enter the application number (if using last name and application number).
3) As for numbers of family members, they do not count kids. So, try 4.
If that does not work, try 3. I was trying 4 (me & my wife + parents = 4) to link my application and did not work. It turned out that CIC did not count my wife and kid. So, as odd as it may be, the "odd" number - 3 - might just work for you.

Good luck!

1) Yes, that's the correct interpretation (as far as I know).
2) You need to answer his employment, as it is specifically asking about your spouse (not co-signer).
3) You do not need to answer that, as you do not have a co-signer.
4) It should not effect your application since you are not sponsoring his parents.
5) Nope. No consequences. You just need to notify CIC of the change of your marital status.
6) Well, that's unusual. But, I believe both should still be eligible to become PR, as they are still your parents regardless of their marital status. The complication comes if and when they get remarried.

A lot of hypothetical "divorce" questions here.

Hello All,

i have question regarding financial evaluation, sorry if this is a repeat question.

I came to Canada in Oct. 2015 and have gross family income of around 30k (cutoff is around 48k) in 2015, however my income in 2016 and 2017 way higher than the cutoff for these years.

will it be of any use if i still submit my application leaving the decision to the officer? will there be any chance of my application getting through based on my higher income in 2016 and 2017?

Thanks,
Rk

The answer is....."NO".

CIC is looking for income that meets LICO for the past 3 years, consistently. They are not looking for an "average" income. It's a simple requirement. You either meet LICO for the past 3 years or you do not. Period.

Yeah you should apply you have won a lottery and then after some times most probably will be getting refusal letter . As at the time of filling the lottery form this year they have specifically asked wether you fulfill the requirements or not , you ignored that at that time and said yes. So now you should definitely send the application as well.

there are people who were rejected because= Sponsorship Eligibility denied. Short LICO, in 2017PGP and 2016PGP
