One day late submission of 'Additional Family Information'

Hi Folks,

I received an email from CIC saying that "We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/document
Additional Family form(IMM5406) bearing original signatures.

Unfortunately I happened to miss that email from CIC which asked me to upload the IMM5406 Additional Family Information form within 7 days from the date of their correspondence. I found the email on the 8th day and submitted the documents........but 1 day late.

I'm so worried if this will affect my PR status. Can anyone please advise if there is anything else I can do to help my situation.
