Bow valley college, calgary.. ikaw ba?
Hello. We have the same school, Bow Valley College! Kailan ba alis mo? Ask ko lang nabayaran mo na ba ang tuition mo in full? Di ba per semester naman nirerequire nila na payment and not the whole 4 terms. Ilan ba dadalhin mo funds for CBSA inspection just in case? And what other documents are you bringing with you as proof of funds just in case they ask?
Hope to see you there!

hello everyone! pa help naman please. Is it alright to take a certificate program good for 1 year or should I take a diploma course? I am planning to study at Red Deer College in Alberta. Kasi I'm thinking right after completion of certificate program then I can study a post graduate degree good for 1 year.

roggelcorral,
Ang pagkakaalam. Kung bro in law mo mag provide ng accommodation. He needs provide notarized affidavit of support. Opinion ko lang, pro kailangan mo strengthen home ties/ personal assets. Kung me property sa Pinas, at family ma iiwan. Wait din natin iba comments.

i have two properties, boss. my current address which i conjugally own with my wife. the other, my parent’s house, which i co-own with my 3 siblings (my mother transferred the title to us after my father died in 2013). both are clean title naman and not under mortgage or any encumbrance (up to date din amilliar ng both properties). hindi pa kasama sa application ko ang mag-ina ko kasi ang balak namin ay mag apply sila after ma-approve ako. saka balak din namin na patapusin muna anak ko ng grade 11 para hindi naman sayang yung tuition nya for this school year. i also have a tech start up, duly registered with sec as a limited partnership, which i co-own naman with two friends (registered last feb). my plan is to get credentials in canada for IT security, which could be used in our tech start up as we will be offering IT consultancy as a service. kaso bago pa lang company namin kaya wala pa financial docs... yung sec registration pa lang... i am also currently employed in a web dev company. i have limited savings lang dahil hindi naman kami mayaman. what would be my chances for sp approval kaya?

maraming salamat sa reply, boss!

I think its not necessary to mention you will stay sa bro in law. I read it fast your post SDS k pla. Its better not to send signal. Strong naman home ties mo. Sa SDS mastaas ang percentage of approval. Wala pa ako alam na narefuse. Ksi hinde mo na iprove your financial status. Sugestion lang bro, if you are partner. It may help that the employment oppurtunity that you are holding specific management position when you return sa Pinas. Your partners or company have agreement on your study abroad that will benefit future projects of the company. Looks that your SP application is fine. :)

yes, boss, plan talaga namin ng dalawang partners ko to get all the necessary credentials para sa company namin. hopefully makapag incorporate kami in a couple of years. i will be holding the cto position kasi ako yung mas technical sa aming tatlo. i can get a sworn affidavit from them about our specific positions once we incorporate. sa ngayon kasi partners pa lang designation namin as per our sec registration.

maraming salamat ulit, boss! :)

Thanks qaplaza. In the letter the valid passport must be receive by IRCC within 30 days. There is a link where to submit passport.
The general guidelines states if you answer in 7 & 9 in the application for is your current residence is you home country. The guide states follow the instructions. Submit your passport along with letter from CIC. I took the risk now by submitting to the country where I work thinking it maybe consider. I contacted VFS Makati but only hear an auto answering machine. VFS always say refer to website. The time of getting an Autheticated Consulate SPA plus sending via courier may take 8 to 10 working days also. Hope everything will be fine.
Hi Romansky,
I'm an OFW here in Qatar. I received my approval last July 3. On July 4, I submitted my Passport together with the letter sent by cic at VFS Qatar. Paid 500 QAR, and they gave me a tracking number. Processing is 10 working days kasi pinadala pa ang passport sa Canadian Embassy sa Abu Dhabi. After 2 weeks, received sms informing me na nasa VFS Qatar na passport ko. I went to collect the next day... Check VFS saudi website, andun naman yun or better yet tumawag ka to inquire.goodluck
