Congratulations to everyone who successfully received AOR.
I phoned CIC and got an my application number. CIC agent mentioned there is a letter which determinated my eligibility sent to me lately, but the agent has no access to the letter from the system.
It made me nervous now as I didn't receive any email (I provided email on my application.) Is it anything wrong on my eligibility? I met the income requirement and I didn't acquire my PR through sponsorship.
I also checked ECAS, the status showing my application is received.
Is it normal that a paper letter sent to me? Will I also receive an email?

We have the same boat... im one of the nervous person here too...my timeline here--( may 2 - application recieved, july 6 got an aor....after that no more email coming...still my ecas shows application recieved nothing will change...

I faxed it, the next day got approval for sponsorship on ecase=online tool. good luck,

Recieved an email on July 23 confirming the Acceptance for 2018 intake

The main concern could be the payment. If CIC misses your payment receipt which must have been submitted with application or the payment is insufficient, it will not be forgiven and the application will be returned.

It is bit odd that you haven't got a correspondence from CIC/ IRCC since June 30. I would suggest you to Call CIC call centre to check what is going on.

I tired to call them but the wait time was more than 45 mins...luckily they sent medical and PCC request to me today....will call them tomorrow and find out the local office...

Step 1. Get AOR- you did,
Step 2: get SA(=sponsorship approval) letter- you are waiting for it, you will receive it as email attachment from cic Mississauga. It will say you are eligible to sponsor your parents and your application is transferred to Ottawa or other local visa office.

Do I need to open an account on my parent name and link it? or I can link my parent application to my profile.
Little bit confused. I tried couple of times this morning to link my parents file to my account and failed.

Could anyone share the experience please?
The above is for my wife, she got the SA email but didn't get anything for PCC and medical.

Hello,

You can still submit your application, in our case we are just here for 1 year and four months last February and I submitted only one NOA and I made a letter explaining to them that we could financially support my mother in law here in canada. I have attached the employment certificate of my wife and my self stating the annual salary we are receiving.

It will be still declined, one needs to be in Canada as a PR for a minimum of 3 years and meet the LICO unless you have a co-signor (your partner/spouse) who has three years of income in Canada and meets LICO , there are no exceptions to that rule. I will be highly surprised if it gets approved.

However, I'm still not able to link my application which makes me nervous, so I'm contacting CIC through WebMail and Phone today.
Is anyone having some problem with me where they can't link the application after receiving AOR or status changed in E-Case?

Just a quick question as I am getting nervous for the situation that I can't link the application.

In IMM0008 (Generic Application Form For Canada) Question #3: How many family members, including you, are in this application?

In this question, I entered just 1 as I'm the principal sponsor, and have one brother who is well over 30 not married, but financially supporting by himself, and my mom divorced more than 15 years ago.

Did I enter this value correctly?

I started getting worried if I entered anything wrong there as I can't link the application in this case that question is one of the verification question to do so.

I and my co-signer sponsor my father, I entered 3, it works, you can try 2, 3, 4, you can try 5 times per day

I received MR and police certificate request two weeks ago in my GCkey account. They asked me to "Please reply directly to this email and put your application number in the title." But there is no Email address provided. So do I just upload those document through the "view submitted application" link then?

If anyone has experience of this, please let me know, thanks a lot!

this form should be completed by applicant, not you PRINCIPAL SPONSOR, so # = Qty people you are sponsoring. if you are sponsor just 1 parent, you are lucky and 1 is correct, if not - incorrect

Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if YULIA or someone from the forum kept track of PGP 2016 applications, just so people can have an idea of how long it could take for their PGP to be processed. Whenever I call CIC, they always said "You know that we are working on applications received in 2014".

Tips on getting through to CIC faster:

(1) Wait for automated message to finish until you hear the option. Then...
(2) Press 2
(3) Press 1
(4) Press 3
(5) Press 0

You do not need to wait for those automated messages after you heard the option. Then press 2-1-3-0 (in that order). That will save a lot of time.

Anyhow, I called CIC today because I have been having trouble linking my PGP 2018 to CIC account. I tried the tips & tricks provided on this forum, and non of them worked. Call centre agent was not able to help me either and sent me a form for technical assistance. CIC obviously needs to fix that in their database, as application number and/or UCI should have been sufficient to find an application. Whatever they did to avoid linking wrong application, caused all sorts of issues and I see people trying different tricks to get their application linked. Perhaps, we should all send a complaint so CIC can fix it?

If there is a forum where the first batch of PGP applications were tracked from start to finish, could someone please direct me that as well? I just want to find out the approximate time from the time of application to getting PR stamp.
