In the first week of June I received additional points under the 1 year Canadian experience but I would only complete 12 month by end of July 31st.
I received my ITA under CEC on June 13 and by July 31st I complete my 1 year experience and i have 90 days to apply. so what should i do? do you think I can apply ? I have not yet applied I have one more month left.
Medicals are done upfront.

IMO you should decline and reapply once you have a complete year experience. You received those points because you declared that you have one year + working experience in your EE profile, which may lead to a rejection.

thanks for the reply,
but i never said i had 1 year experience. When asked about the joining month and year for Canada experience i gave them the details , but never was awarded the points until the first week June, which actually confused me , but then i thought well if CIC has awarded me the point then why question it. so i went forward and accepted the ITA.
now what i should do. Already my profile has expired in the early month of July and i have already done my medicals and everything.
do you think i should go forward with the application because i never gave any wrong details

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/assessing-electronic-application-on-section-a11-2.html

Section 11.2 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) includes a new authority that supports the Express Entry system.

Under section A11.2, an officer may not issue a visa to an applicant who did not or does not meet the Express Entry minimum entry criteria (MEC) or did not or does not possess the qualifications for which they received their CRS score at the time when

  • the invitation to apply (ITA) was issued; or
  • the e-APR was received by IRCC.
When reviewing an application, processing offices must determine if

  • the applicant possesses the qualifications that they declared in their e-APR, as corroborated by the applicant’s supporting documentation; and
  • when the applicant submits their e-APR, the information provided in their Express Entry profile has not materially changed to the degree that the applicant would not have been issued an ITA in that round of invitations.
Accordingly, officers should refuse an application under section A11.2 if it is determined that

as per this page and the statement, what do you think ? if i go forward with the e_APR after 31st of July. Wont it match?

@Umarama29
Here in this post @jaggeo got his PR without completing 1 year
He got ITA after completing 11 months
This is not the best advice. It's at the discretion of the officer who is reviewing your application. If you do not meet the MEC at the time of ITA, decline it and get an ITA when you meet it. The only time you want to go ahead with it is when you know that you won't get an ITA in the upcoming rounds (impossible to know). In that case, you would submit your e-APR after you meet the MEC (one year of work experience for CEC). It is simply not worth the risk to submit an application and get a very likely refusal 4 or 5 months after your AOR.

If that's the case, submit your application on or after July 11. You should be fine.

I am in the same position and I submitted it on 30th of May. My one year was going to be finished on June 1st. if you do not have the full one year, system won’t allow you to even make an express entry profile so when it draws you with 11 months, it has some knowledge to it. I think you should decline it when for example your english score is about to expire and this kind of things, otherwise why the system draws you in the first place as it is a very simple thing to prevent if it has that big of a problem to be rejected because of it. Also, I think it considers that it may take a month to submit the application therefore it will assume as 1 year experience. I asked others and just the one that mentioned they are currently working got the ITA with 11 month experience .

This is a known glitch in the system. You can get credit for an entire month even if you had worked only one day in that month. Therefore, it is your responsibility to ensure that you meet the requirements at the time of ITA and e-APR. While officers may still approve your application if you submit your e-APR (as they are aware of this glitch) after you meet the requirements, they will refuse any applications that do not meet the requirements at the time of e-APR submission. If they approve it, it's probably because they missed it and 9 out of 10 times, it is a straight refusal. You are in a dangerous spot, if I were you, I would withdraw my application and see if I can get a refund if the processing has not started. You can talk to an immigration lawyer and he/she will tell you the same thing.

@indianstudent96 Hi quick question, I am at a little tough spot with adding work experience post ITA.

In my pre-ITA express entry profile I declared 11 months at one job and 4 month in another to meet the 1 year requirement for NOC B code. As for the 11 month job's reference letter I am confident it is the right NOC code and for 4 months, I am quite sure it is the right one except the employment reference letter is not entirely similar to the NOC descriptions.

So since I was not sure and was able to gain employment reference letters post ITA, I decided to declare two additional work experiences post ITA. These experience of course did not change any CRS points but I was hoping if the 4 months work experience is rejected by officer, the officer will validate other two experience work hours to cover up that 1 month I am missing.

But what I am worried about is whether MEC will not be met if the officer decides to reject that 4 months of work experience and not take into account the work experiences I added post-ITA.

Any thoughts?
