One more query.. I have completed ECA for my Diploma in Pharmacy and Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy which is equivalent to 2 years diploma and 4 years Bachelor's degree respectively. So please let me know whether I can update my highest qualification under the category "two or more diploma, degree certificate one is 3 years or more".

HI Harman,
We have received AOR, waiting for PPR.
I'm an Industrial pharmacist (NOC 3131) - not into clinical / hospital pharmacy
I have got my ECA through WES.

I got to know that Industrial Pharmacist comes under Regulated Jobs, so if I want to work in Formulation R&D or related department in Canada after I get my PR, do I need to go through PEBC and is Licensure required for the job search for Formulation and related departments.
Hi Pooja.. please add me on Pharmacist group 91 9447617693

You dont need to .

Bachelors of pharmacy have same points as masters or two or more degrees.

If you want to you can still show it as two or more degree. You are good to go in both options.

Professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession

(also known as First professional degree or Entry-to-practice professional degree)

For Express Entry, we only accept professional degrees in these fields:

  • medicine,
  • veterinary medicine,
  • dentistry,
  • podiatry,
  • optometry,
  • law,
  • chiropractic medicine, or
  • pharmacy.
ECA assessment results:

Pharmacy
  • Five or more years of professional university study in pharmacy
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree
  • Four-year Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in pharmacy

If you get ECA from PEBC you get points for Master's degree or Proffesional degree.
If you get ECA from WES you get points for 4years of Bachelor's degree.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

I got points for professional degree and PPR. my PEBC ECA states I am four years in bachelors of pharmacy like mentioned above in bold letters.
Which NOC did you use ?
Can I still get points for work experience if NOC is not for pharmacist. I want to claim points for Professional degree and work experiential from non-regulated occupation.
Did you get skill transferability scores at "Two or more credential..." equivalent for professional degree ?

Hi,
I have completed my B.Pharm for 4 years and i have 2 year of experience in pharmacovigilance and 1 year as Pharmacist as registered pharmacist in India. I am planning for my ECA assessment but i am confused regarding the assessment from PEBC or WES. Could anyone of you please help with the following questions?
1) Do i go with PEBC or WES for ECA? as my NOC does not come under pharmacist?

2) Secondly, i have read some post saying PEBC gives ECA for Pharmacy as Professional degree however WES consider its as 3 year post secondary degree. So do i need to proceed with PEBC for assessment even though my NOC does not falls under pharmacist to get more marks?

3) Also, if proceed with PEBC option, do i need to give any kind of exams for ECA assessment?

Please help. I am stuck in this confusion. Please add me 9967283370

Hello everyone,
I have done my ECA. I have a bachelor of pharmacy from Mumbai University and ECA report from WES confirms the same
Now I am confused about selecting options . Should I select bachelors(112 crs points) or should I select professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession (126 crs points) as pharmacy is listed on cic site as professional degree

PS: though I am registered pharmacist in India I don't work in pharma field neither I am applying for. Pharma related NOC code. I have work experience in sales n marketing n will be opting for noc 601 for corporate sales managers

Kindly help me with this.

Thank you

If you have you get the licence to do that job then PEBC is must,,

If you have worked as an industrial pharmacist without licence,,, WES would be sifficent.
can industrial pharmacist get ECA from PEBC to get higher points? or is it only for retail and clinical pharmacists?
