My wife: Overall: 8.0 L:8.0 R:7.0 W:8.0 S:8.0
and I : Overall: 8.5 L:9.0 R:8.0 W:8.5 S:8.5

I'm 37 in 4 days, so losing valuable 5 points for that. But it's my mistake since I decided to go for Canadian PR a bit late. I'm in the US on an H1B visa. As per the calculator here (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp), CRS score is 442.

Any advice from people who have done research on the subject?
With 442 you will eventually get an ITA.

Hi, I took the test in Seattle, WA. I haven’t gotten my results online. And today, I received an email from the test centre saying as below. Has anyone gotten into the same situation, please let me know. Thanks!

‘As part of the quality control procedures designed to protect the integrity and security of the IELTS test, test results are routinely analyzed before they are issued to candidates.

Unfortunately your result is still being processed so it has not been possible to analyze it yet. The analysis will be conducted when the processing of your result is completed. Scores will be mailed to the mailing address you provided on test day. Online preview of results will be unavailable during this time.’

You can apply in your wife's name if she has same background as yours and if she is younger .

Unfortunately, that's not an option. While she's definitely younger than me, she's a homemaker and doesn't have any work experience. Truth be told, raising our two kids actually counts for a lot more work than what I do, but officially, it's pretty much zero.

Hi,

Could some one please explain me on below.

I got my ielts results and got below scores.
Listening 7
Reading 6
Writing 6.5
Speaking 6.5

I heard that minimum 6 band is must in each module and I did met the requirement. But still it said I did not met the minimum eligibility. Please note I have 6 years of skilled work experience.

Please help me by proving reasons.

Thanks,
Mercy
