Hi All,
My brother is a medical resident in the US (on a J1-Visa). His J1-Visa is expired but naturally he has a valid DS-2019 and I-94. He plans to visit us in Canada and return to the US on the Automatic Revalidation Visa rule, which we just realized it exists.
My question is will he be able to apply for a visitor visa to Canada from the US considering that he has an expired J1 visa (though again the DS-2019 and I-94 are valid along with his employment at his hospital)?
Also, does anyone have any experience with the Automatic Revalidation rule as it pertains to J1-Visa?
Thanks!
