Sheridan college offer letter

I applied for Game development - advance programming on 14th March and still haven't received any response from the college. Under the status section, it is showing "under consideration" since last 3 months. Has anyone received an offer letter from Sheridan for this course ?

But it's like the visa procedure needs time as i have applied for sept. Are you sure this is normal ?

I got my acceptance letter for the same course on the 18th of April. Since then I submitted my study permit application but it got rejected. So I'm reapplying now hoping I have everything I need. Do you have a study plan / statement of purpose? I believe this is why I was refused a study permit.

Yeah you do need SOP for the permit. And no i am still waiting for my offer letter. I dont know why it is being delayed so much. What are your qualifications by the way ?

I would suggest don't wait now because September is already closed and the course you have chosen is very demanded so all offer letters are already issued. The sheridan representative confirmed that it is now about impossible to get admitted in September 18 so go for other college. I am also going for sheridan and i have applied om 27th December for Computer Systems Technology Software Development and Network Engineering amd got offer letter on 13th may so dont wait now it has been already full

Well in that case you should call sheridan college right now. They usually very slow in responding emails. Calling at campus to international department is the best way to approach them. I applied at sheridan in august 2017 and i received sheridan offer letter in february 2018. And since then i been compiling documents for visa application and i recently applied for study permit. Please make sure if you course at sheridan requires coop work term then also ask sheridan to provide you seperate letter for coop work permit. apply for coop work permit along with your study permit. I hope good immigrarion agents well aware of this.

I have a friend there studying in Sheridan and she said it is normal for the college to take so much time. They'll start distributing the offer letters by the end of the month again. I had made a conditional application and recently i uploaded my complete result sheet. Maybe that is one of the reasons for this delay.

But if that was the case, they would have rejected or given me other options. Status is "under consideration". By the way, congratulations to you.

For every applicant they always mention under consideration in the status. It does not mean they are really considering the applicant. I also met in the beginning with conditional offer of IELTs then i submit my IELts result in march and right after i called them for new offer letter. They took about 10 days to send me new unconditional offer letter. Please note that the processing time from CIC for study Visa application is about 7 weeks for most of the asian countries. Sometime it increases and some times it decreases. Its all about luck. Also i have red on this forum at several places that even after getting admission offer the visa officer takes more time in processing of application which exceeds the start date of college. And ultimately the college have to deffer the applicant intake to next semester.

Are you studying in sheridan at present ?

Not yet. Applied on 25 june and My visa application is under process. So far i have not received any further instructions
