Hello,

I just called to my immigration consultant to check my current status and they said the final decision is under review at this moment. How do they know this? They sent me the screen shot of my account information and it is saying like this: (I have had this same status since a month ago, tho.)

We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
You passed the medical exam.
We do not need additional documents.
You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Yes, that is IP2, next stage is PPR. You are very close.... What is your timeline

Not sure why did they may such a statement at the first place... In order to check they would need to know if elements such as:
-Eligibility review has been done or not ? Passed or otherwise
-Criminality finished?
-Background check status - When was it started and whether it has been completed or not.

You dont need to wait for your consultant, you can call IRCC on their call center and speak to an agent first and find the above details out...
if your Eligibility is done that most likely you are in BGC processing. How much time does BGC takes is a just not possible to estimate it..

Yes, that is what I wonder too what made them say that the final decision is under review now? They are super busy so I did not want to bother them much so I have been checking my status through CIC automated phone service.... When I asked to my consultant about my status a while ago they said I only passed the medical and today when I asked again, they said the final decision is under review. Hmm... I haven't really thought of calling to the CIC agent asking for the status but now I am highly considering to do it. Thanks for the advice. It was a big help

I really hope so. Thanks. The thing is that I have been in this status right after MEP.... so I am not sure if I am in IP1 or IP2.... my AOR is 17 May and CEC Inland.

Me too, it's a 'soft' IP2, it doesn't mean the same thing as going to IP1 for a while, and then to IP2. Seems to be limited to CEC (maybe inland only?) applications

My lawyer submitted my application on 6 Apr(same day AoR as well).
I saw the same status when I followed with my lawyer on 16th Apr.
Till now my application is under processing, so learning from the posts here on forum I started contacting IRCC in May.
I came to know my Eligibility part is done when I called them on 25th May.
Yesterday when I called them to follow up my BGC is currently in progress.

I am CEC - Inland as well..

During all this my lawyer says oh we have not got any update your application is under processing

Hi everybody
Have any one experience a case like mine:
So I m pnp inland. Aor 16 june, I ve send by 17 june document through CSE. Till today I didn’t receive any confirmation from an agent, the only thing I had is the automatic email.
I waw checking the immatrackers, Some of 16 and 17 june their medical had passed, mine still not, (I had an upfront 23 April).
Please can anyone explain . Thanks

Got my BOWP today but my status is still IP1....oh wells now I can request for long overdue vacay. I guess R10 check pass isn’t condition for IP2?

Hey guys I just called CIC and they told me that my application is at eligibility : recommended pass and BCG check in ongoing and my application is advancing well with in time frame! Does recommend pass means IP1 still? I had RPRF request on June 12and paid same day. SINGLE APPLICANT CEC MAY 25 AOR

Hello,
I got a request to pay RPRF on the 27th of June and i paid and uploaded the receipt on the placeholder that appeared. I made sure i signed and transmitted successfully. I'm a bit worried that my status still shows "we need additional documents to ..." I thought the status would have changed by now. Is this normal? I have checked my account messages and its only the RPRF that was requested.

Stuck at IP1 for 40 days (FSW - Inland)...I got an ADR on 15 June which I uploaded within a day and haven't seen any action since...They are still reviewing additional documents...Does it make sense to reach out to CIC folks and check? Any views are welcome!
