I have a question. I am HIV positive and I want sponsor my husband who is also HIV positive to join me in Canada, would our application process take longer and what are our chances of being approved. Please help.

It won't affect your chances as it is not grounds for inadmissibility. Your application may take a bit longer as they follow the procedures outlined here:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...tifications/procedure-hiv-positive-cases.html

Key point:

"Applicants in the family class and the dependent refugee class who test positive for HIV may not be assessed as medically inadmissible due to excessive demand on Canada’s health care system [A38(2)]."

Good luck!

I have another question, the phone with our photos were stolen and so I have no pictures of us is grounds for refusal or will that be a problem??

Someone with more experience might be better placed to say but my thoughts would be it isn't grounds for refusal but will make it more difficult for you to prove your relationship is genuine, so I would work very hard on all the other proof of relationship as well as explaining why you have no pictures before the point your phone was stolen. If there's any way you can find any other photos of you I'm sure that would that would really help your application.
