I took my mom for the follow up on Friday, June 23rd and report says there is no sign of TB but she has thickening of the Trachea wall so the radiologist has suggested for a CT scan. The Dr. said it could be something or nothing. She said CIC has their own radiologist and they might be ok or might ask for additional tests. I am not sure how to get a CT scan done here in Toronto as she doesn't have a family doctor and needs a requisition form. Any suggestion or advice would be helpful. Also on the CIC account the status still shows 'We have requested Medical exams' Haven't heard from CIC either. The medical results were submitted on June 17th. Thank you!

I applied to sponsor my Mother on June 15, 2017, received a notification from CIC for Medicals on May 15, 2018, submitted medicals on June 14th 2018 and on June 24th CIC requested additional information (this request came from New Delhi, India) - contacted the Medical Centre and was told a Chest X-Ray and Cardio tests are required which has been scheduled for June 26th.
Received Police Certificate request on June 05 and submitted on June 08 2018 (actually submitted a CVC), havent heard back from CIC.
Managed to link the paper application online finally this morning after a zillion attempts over the last few months.

Not a good enough reason to re-do medical and miss again. There should be a timeline. The whole point of the new system was that there WILL BE a timeline and that is failing.
That's BS - Background check is what they give as general reason. It's not true. No organization takes that long to background check. All third parties or RCMP etc have timelines and they respond. Your parents are on the old system and no one gets to it on time I think. So medicals keep expiring and since GOV doesn't keep track of old applications or care so long as 80% is cleared rest fall through the cracks. I sympathize with you.

Your parents must be double or probably even triple or quadruple agents!!! What a shame...call them , London is checking my BC already 12 mon so im ready to repeat my medical 2 nd time

Just want to confirm that do only parents have to go & submit their passport in VFS Chandigarh or anyone can go and submit parents passport & photo in VFS ?
Actually patents are busy for the time being so just need to know can brother go and submit passport in VFS.

That CIC panel doctor can refer you to the specialist. I will advise contact that panel doctor or you can contact specialist on your own and they charge you per visit unless you have insurance. hope this helps
Did anyone received medical requests, whose file has been transferred to New Delhi? I applied for both of my parents and below is my timeline and no updates since DEC-2017.

Request for PCC along with other documents like resume, travel history and Schedule A received on June 4, 2018. Uploaded all documents on GCKey today. Kindly update ss, thanks.
One add-on to Sunny's reply--- even you can find a specialist for your own, you still need the CIC panel doc to send a referral for you Cuz there are some forms that the panel doc needs the specialist to complete.
