Hi,

This is regarding the experience letter.

I am in a situation. Please let me know what to do..

In the express entry profile, for one of the job experience, I have mentioned as 55 hours.

And now, I am approaching the company to get the letter as per the format mentioned after 9 years. and now the company says, that they are unable to retrieve my information as the entire management has changed and their current company policy is only 40 hours of work. And so, they may be able to provide it only as 40 hours.

What do I do now? I have already mentioned as 55 hours in my profile. So, is it ok to get the letter as 40 hours? Please help.

Have you received and Invitation to apply from the last few draws ? Or you are proactively working to get the document before the invitation ?

Minimum 35 hr/week are required as per IRCC,
Get the letter as per the standard company policy mentioned by them and ask them to include job responsilities

Hi.. I have an ITA already and I am trying to gather all the mentioned documents...
For the proof of the mentioned experience, I am facing this difficulty. I have already mentioned in my profile as 55 hrs as I worked for these many hours 9years back. but the company says they would be able to provide as per the current policy only which 40 hrs.
Would there be a problem if there is a difference in what I mentioned in the profile to what is there in the letter?

No problem at all! Just mention 40 hours in your eAPR form. Submit Reference letter as per IRCC guidelines and if available pay slips or IT returns or both.

I don’t think so as 40hrs/week is still above min required for full time occupation

eAPR form?
I meant electronic Application for Permanent Residence (eAPR). You can update info there such a way that it does not make you ineligible for the Round of Invitation you were invited under. For example, you cannot remove a work experience and add education to claim equal points after ITA. In your case, updating weekly worked hours does not affect your original crs score at all, so you can update it without hesitation. I have changed my Primary NOC code after ITA.

Good Luck!

Hi...
I tried to update the profile.. But I am only able to view the form and not edit it..
Where exactly did you make the changes? in the 'view your profile' section? OR in the ITA - 'Continue application' section?
