Hello,

I did my B.Tech in Electrical engineering but I have 3 years of work experience in IT as MS Exchange Administrator. Recently I gave IELTS exam and got an overall score of 6.5. CRS score is 364. (FSW 64/100).
What are my chances of getting PR? Am I eligible to apply for any province? If so, which province? Although I am giving my IELTS again, wanted to know if I have any chance with present scores. I heard of CEILP is coming to India. Is it better to go with CEILP than IELTS for better score? Please help me.

You are not eligible to apply at FSW 64. You will have to re-appear in IELTS and get a better score. CLB8 or CLB9

But, I heard that they look for CRS score and few people are going through PNP program. Is that true? I also can see apart from Ontario, few other provisions require 60/100 in FSW. If so, what are my chances.
I ll be appear the test antwaya but what are my chances through CRS?

You can only apply under SINP however they have their on assessment grid which requires 60 points.

FSW 67 is mandatory for all other provinces in Canada.

you can try SINP (OID) which is without job offer and without EE profile. Check their occupation list here https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residen...national-skilled-worker-occupations-in-demand

It takes almost 2 years to get PR via this route and you may need to obtain license.
check you federal points again , the english points should be calculated per ability not at overall CLB level.

BTW, provinces have their own points grid (mostly 60/100) not federal grid (67/100)

PNP through EE watch 2 points grids to be eligible, first Federal grid (67) and then provincial grid (e.g. 60/100)

Thank you, I found the same.
I checked in few websites where the CLB calculator indicates different from what we are calculating based on the ability.

CLB is deciding on Least score and especially specific ability Listening, Reading.
CLB 8 or 9, purely depends on Listening module (band>=8) and rest all should be band>=7.
I am worried in writing module, but will give another attempt.

true, but FSW points are based on per ability not overall score. For e.g. 7 7 7 7 will score according to Listening in CLB 7 and rest CLB 9.
