Hello Arun,
Congrats on ur test and interview. I am having my test coming week. Only worry for me is remembering dates. Do they ask for dates in the test?

Regards,
KRP
Yes, they do. However giving a good read 2-3 times will help to get acquainted with the events associated with dates. There by it will be helpful to answer questions with dates. Try answering the online tests to boost your confidence after reading Discover Canada couple of times. Dont stress. You will be fine.

Hi Folks - got the test of citizenship invite today for July 5th, Scarborough office. name abi90. Admin could you please update? Thanks!

One question - I had to move to Ottawa from Toronto two weeks ago for my new job. Before I could reach out to IRCC and advice them of my change in address, I got the citizenship test invite. Is there any point in getting the address changed? My parents still live in the address that they have on file. Thanks!
Hey Admin - apologies. In the 'check your status online' portal - the date mentioned that they informed me of my test is 6th June, and not 11th as I had mentioned. Could you please update? Thank you!

Status updated to Decision Made on 12-Jun-2018. For the spread sheet metrics.

It’s frustrating to be IP since 29th March and not seeing any movement from Halifax office. Every time I call them, they tell me tour file looks “very good” and nothing is required. All checks are completed. I should expect a test invitation soon. But that “soon” is is stuck somewhere.

Who're we supposed to call to ask? Is it the local visa processing office or the CIC? The thing I hate about trying to reach CIC is that they're always too busy for the automated system to direct the call. I end up waiting for 10 mins only for the automated system to ask me to call back later.

Just got off the phone with a CIC agent after waiting for 30 mins. LOL.

I was told that the test can happen at any time during the process and the total expected time for the processing of the Citizenship application is 12 months. Meaning, the test can happen early or later in the application processing - just because we don't have a test invite yet, doesn't mean that the application isn't moving forward.

In addition, I wanted to point out that someone had quoted the percentages of 2017 applicants who have received a test invite eluding to the fact that there are applicants from last year who're still waiting to be called for a test. This isn't accurate because if we look at the trend, it looks like people are just not bothering to update the forum once they've received the test invite. The fact that there are applicants from September 2016 on that spreadsheet with missing test invite information, leads me to believe this.

So relax guys and keep singing along till your application is done. Patience is the key.

Goodluck! when is your test?
Did my test today 13 June.
Got 19/20 and wife 18/20.
The questions came from areas in the book which a person would just not look at all with any importance.
So my advice to those waiting for the test is to read Discover Canada as many times as possible with word to word understanding .
