Proof of Finance and Work in what Language?

hey,

Just got ITA 3 (yay!) weeks ago and already talked to my bank and employer. Both are willing to write the required documents in english. But since their mother language is german, it could be that their english is not perfect. So there could be some minor grammar mistakes.

Is this a big deal? Do you think it is fine if they directly write it in english, even if it has some minor grammar mistakes, or should they write it in german and hire a professional translator for the translation?


Any experiences with this?

I think you can give your manager a draft to review and sign of the Refernce Letter.

Regarding your bank letter the bank may have standard formats available in English it should suffice, if you account statement is good, maybe you can attach 6 months bank statement along with it

My Manager just wanted to see what he should mention and will write it by himself. I will get a draft for him to give comments and later on if it is fine for me, he will sign it. I mean, my English is not perfect. So I am not sure if I find all grammar mistakes, so there may be some small mistakes in it. But since English is our main language at work, I am pretty sure his English is completely understandable. I was just worried if small mistakes care. But I guess it is still fine, even if there are some smaller mistakes? How did other people manage that from non-English speaking countries? Was it fine if the employer provided the letter in English? Or did most hire a translator for that?

Regarding my bank. Unfortunately, the requirements are so specific that they do not have a standard format. But they will write a unique one with all information. I already have the bank statements and so on So the proof itself shouldn't be a problem. Should I have an official translation for the bank slips too? I mean they are kinda self-explaining, but even then I guess it is not ok to attach them in German?

Payslips are not required you can highlight through your bank statement the payroll that you were receiving
