NewYork visitor visa processing time after they receive passport

I have sent the passport to New York consulate to stamp my Canadian visitor visa. Do you guys know when i will receive my passports back?

Here are my timings.

Online Application Submitted on 04/29
Passport request on 05/16
Passport sent on 05/17

I emailed couple of times to get an update from them. Yesterday i got a response back saying "Thank you for your email. Please note your application has been finalized and all your documents are in queue to be returned to you by mail. ". Do anyone know how many days will it take to receive the passport after getting this email from them? Please help.

For me it took 25 days after they received my passport

I see in forum that after receiving the email they got their passport in a week period of time. Lets see. I hoping to get it soon as i have already planned my trip to Canada next week.

I am in same boat. SEnt my passport on 16th May evening. They received on 20th May. Looks like they are still processing passports received around 3rd May.

I have to travel on 12th June. Fingers crossed!!

Just received my PP back with a Visa stamp for 1 year from LA consulate. Wasn't expecting it so fast.

My Time lines :

Applied online : May 1st
PP request : May 27th
PP received by LA consulate : May 29th
PP received : June 1st.

NOTE : I have attached a covering letter to process it urgently with my US visa appointment date letter to it.

I would suggest to send PP to LA consulate as they are much faster than NY.

Passport request: April 23rd, 2013

Could not send passport immediately due to intervening travel (10 days)

Passport sent: May 6th, 2013
Passport reached NYC consulate: May 7th, 2013

Return USPS Express Tracking activated: June 3rd, 2013 (Expected to be delivered June 3rd)

Had to send two emails within 2 days this week to get my passport back....and they sent passport without photo on the visa.....is this normal?

Hello, i'm new here and i have been requested to send my passport to CVAC in New York.
The thing is I'm from Canada and the Cvac site is very confusing to determine how to send my passport via courier and how to pay the fees?

None, i have visitor visa and applied to IEC Working Holiday and they approved me.
