I don't know which one to recommend :) I assume they'd be looking at both categories, but I originally used 2174 at the time and have just stuck with it. I'm in the regular HCP stream - if you can get into the French it goes much faster apparently. Note that it's pay-for-play - as in, its a CAD$1500 fee to process a OINP which why I'm totally loving this situation where I'm possibly 2 points from getting an ITA, but I've blown the money because I can't wait forever. OINP takes a lot longer than 60-90 days - it took 60 days from submission to move me to 'assessment', and based on MyImmiTracker, I've seen another 60 days to get nominated as well.
M8 its still better than sitting at 434...i can take whatever I can get :D. Waiting is no issue. Just need HCP. I think the next batch will b released soon...

Don't write off British Columbia's programme if you don't mind Vancouver versus Toronto. Close proximity to Microsoft & Amazon and the Silicone Valley bunch.

My understanding is older letters are 100% - just your latest job might need an update every now and again (they don't expect you to go to all your past employers and re-issue reference letters every 6 months - same with police clearance certificates from countries you're no longer in)
Even for Current employer there is no 6 months limit, just get new when there is change in roles and responsibilities.

Have you gone to your WES.org profile and sent a duplicate copy of your WES profile to OINP?

I randomly discovered this tip on a forum elsewhere and a week later mine changed to 'Assessment'. And there is no mention ANYWHERE that you must do this on official sites etc. (well that I could find)

honestly if they dont do a draw they are bunch of savages! and that would mean alot! it means that they strictly do not want to clear 440 and drop under 440! I am at 440! so if you are around 435 and if they do not do a draw today you better improve your point or start investing in another country!

I'm at 433 and already have a test scheduled on July 7th to improve our score.

Let us keep the positive vibes going buddy...I have a feeling that 2 draws from now on should happen atleast to clear ITA targets the government is having...n since in the updated pool status shows that only around 250 odd are above 440..Assuming 200 added in the last 6 days there is bound to be around 2000 remaining ITA"s to be issued..If the total invitees to be 3500...So my gut feeling is it would be around 437-438...
