I will be contacting Minister by the end of the coming week to lodge a complaint against London Visa Office on the behalf of all those waiting in this forum and will try to contact the Canada House as well to get some details. Till then I will be replying to the PM messages only and will be seen less in the forum.

Keep me posted. Good Luck to all

I’ve just received GCMS notes, the latest one before those I receiced in March. Since then, absolutely nothing whatsoever changed even though I’ve been waiting for a year since AOR...

Maybe not in London I guess but they are likely to process many applicants this coming week and finally, we will see PPR for those waiting for a long time.
@BillHyatt, thanks for your response! There are also two people on immitracker who are in the february list with LVO as their visa office. They received PPRs at the end of May, but they are in the PNP stream, which I thought was quite odd since PNP usually takes longer than FSW. Am I wrong? There's also someone on this forum who reported that he received an email for bio data, and his AOR was January 2018. So I was trying to figure out how the process is being done now at LVO. Is it that there are a few officers who are focused on 2018 PNP applicants, but FSW is still going through the normal delays? I'm not sure...

From what I have seen in my file, it will be ghost update once your file is sent to the visa officer Meaning, the initial checks ny the analyst is done. Anything can happen from ghost update, from RPRF request, ADR or straight PPR.
Please what does ghost update mean

Please ask for the specific cases stuck in security screening for long. Kindly advise/suggest them to impose some timeline on cases stuck in ss. Almost everyone in ss have not done anything wrong and have clean background with higher qualifications and experiences. Thanks!

Order GCMS Notes and if a file is London then it is taking on average 10 months from AOR nowadays. So, you should be prepared for a long wait.

In case you get PPR earlier and will not be able to travel, then you will not have to start all over again. Instead, you will request IRCC to delay your file and include your child before concluding your file. There are 100's of cases like this and there is hardly any problem.

Good Luck!
@BillHyatt thank you for your response, that comment of being able to add our child before concluding the file relieves a lot of stress.

Yup, but even when in SS there will be some activity with redacted data. In my case, there weren’t any new ones. SS started almost 8 months AFTER AOR.
Yeah same here mate. I'm guessing we are in the same batch. My AOR is May 2017 and security started on 28th Feb. I ordered my first set of GCMS notes on 14th of March and until that time there was only one activity under ADMISSIBILITIES. I was gonna order another set but after seeing your message I'd rather not. Do you think we should order CBSA / CSIS notes instead?

I’m June 2017 AOR.
I don’t think GCMS will add value at this point given what I saw from my last batch. I already ordered CSIS notes a few days ago, and raised a CSE. What will happen is basically one of two things:
1) CSIS comes back to me saying they can’t release the notes because SS is still ongoing - in this case I’ll know not to expect PPR before at least 2-3 months
2) CSIS sends the notes signalling that they finished SS and hence hopefully my file will move faster from there

I recommend you do the same and order the CSIS notes, there’s no harm in it.

Yeah definitely mate. I was in 2 minds about it contemplating it's worth. But I guess it's worth ordering them even though it takes couple of months to receive them.

Do you reckon it'll show when our SS will be finalised.

It won’t if it’s still in progress. They’ll only tell you the date if they already finalized and sent your file to CBSA or IRCC, then they’ll tell you when they did that. At least that’s what I could gather from the forum.
