Hi, I just received my Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR). I am an international student in Montreal and my plan is to move to an English speaking province because there are more jobs in my field, also because I don't speak French.

I didn't apply for a CSQ because I don't intend to live in Quebec long term. My issue is that I have to go to an interview to confirm my CoPR and I'm afraid they might deny it because I'm currently living in Montreal (Quebec) and will be here for at least a year more before I move to another province.

I was ecstatic and now I'm super worried :( Please help!

You should be OK. CIC has issued you COPR which means that CIC is convinced about your intentions of living outside Quebec else CIC would have already rejected your application or would have asked for more documentation before issuing COPR.

Thanks a lot! Do you think it would make any difference if I entered via Ontario?
