I am dec 29 2018 applicant. Got onmy medical req for me on jan 8 noy for my spoise as she did her medical last year jan 25 and passed on feb 9 2017 for her opw. So she never got her med req. Her medical expired on feb 2018. My status changed from passed to you do not need a medical test.
I got gcms notes. I passed eligibility, criminality but my medical status is Passed-Expired.
My security showinh not started. My file localtion is
PNP -MEDS PENDING.
Nothinh like Ready for PS or PS

Can u guys let me know if mu security is started or not?

why don't you give premedical's for spouse, instead of waiting for MR

I had similar status with my meds, after pending they sent a request to extend my meds and after they got extended my med status changed to passed.

As for the security check - this remains the biggest mystery to me. After reading other posts and GCMS notes of people who have received their PR, it is safe to conclude that the status of security check will never show as passed, they just redact anything that pertains to security in the notes as it is a confidential government info. So it's really hard to understand whether the security check in underway, although it's showing as not started or if it's truly not started.

the latest notes I got had "ready for PS". My meds were extended in January.

It is raining in my city. After May1st, there was no rain of PPRs in our group.

this what actually happening....

it's very confusing my friend. After speaking to an agent yesterday I realized they really have no idea about this they are just reading whatever is in our notes, so they don't even know if the application was sent to the agencies responsible for the security check, as it is not reflected in the notes.

Just saying First stage passed, med done background passed eligibility passed, secuirty check in progress
