My minimum income requirement for last few years was good enough to process my mother's application in 2018 but I was wondering if the minimum required income levels have to be sustained till the outcome of the application?

Hi Everyone,

My application was received in Ottawa on the 25th. However, I just realized I forgot to include the barcode on the invitation letter. Its not on the document checklist!

What should I do? Should I send it in ASAP with a cover letter? Is there likely my application will be returned now?

Thanks!

You need it for previous 3 years and have to continue to maintain until the application has completed.

I am working for just one company since 2014 but there were some expenses which reduce my T4 income for NOA.
But as mentioned, both the incomes T4 or NOA are more then the required income.
Since, you have already sent so I would say wait till you hear anything back from officer and provide the necessary documents if asked or to make things easier just provide them the access to your CRA account by signing the form

I see lots of In-process for 2018 applicants in spreadsheet. Whoever is managing the spreadsheet can please add additional row for In-process date ? So it will be easier for other applicants to track.
Thank You

I recently submitted my mother's application and wondering how long does it take for the processing?

Just stumbled on
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B_YAyszLcUxbfe0ur7WPZRPJ0y2COpRJSt8Ce19yrhI/edit#gid=1444578034

Does this mean a clean and complete application is taking around 6 to 9 months?
The processing time will depend on the local Visa Office to which your file will be transferred, looking at the previous years timelines, files transferred to London Visa office are process at the fastest speed.

Yes, the minimum income requirements stays in effect till the Parents enter Canada as Permanent Residents.

I would suggest you to prepare an Explanation letter and mail it to the Ottawa address along with the invitation letter (Mail it via Canada Post's next day delivery option).

In the explanation letter provide the reason 'you forgot......' and also provide the UCIs, names, DOB and passport numbers of your of your parents.

Also, in the explanation letter, provide your UCI, name, DOB, mailing address, and phone number.

Yes absolutely they have to be maintained and that retirement keeps on creeping up
