I see that you have been suggesting this. Is this just from your personal experience, or are there multiple people who had shared the same experience.

To be candid, I really think it would have no impact.
It's just because I work for the federal government and I have a fair idea of how it operates... it's only a suggestion though, just my advice.

Hey, fellow November applicants!

I have good news! (chants: oath, oath, oath!)

My oath invitation has finally arrived today in a scroll carried by a very slow-flying pigeon (just kidding, it was by email).

After five weeks since Decision Made (which is long for us Vancouver-applicants, haha, Vancouver was very fast at one point) and a fair bit of desperation and despair, I am summoned to take the oath on June 22nd, 2018 at 8 am.

I cannot be more thrilled to finally become Canadian (and to be done with the endless waiting and uncertainties but that's beside the point).

I hope you all receive good news soon, and I will update you guys after the ceremony.

Here are the dates:

Oath Invite Received: 2018/05/25
Oath Ceremony: 2018/06/22

Admins: please update.
To the rest of you: good luck!

(This is a repost from the Vancouver thread but I thought I would update you guys too since I always updated on this thread, I hope you don't mind. :))

Yes but some people already have a plan to travel to settle affairs which were left unsettled back in home country, and some of those matters can be time sensitive. It would be costly to fly back to Canada just for citizenship ceremony, and you can't delay citizenship ceremony more than 2 times I heard.

My mother is in such a situation, she has to initiate her retirement procedure from a provincial government job in Pakistan and that process takes more than 6 months to a year, and her expat leave is expiring.

Well any plan we make to settle our affairs outside canada is not the fault of the government of Canada or IRCC right? So still doesn’t make sense to follow up or call 10000000x and i don’t think for that reason any citizenship case will be expedited.

Sorry mate, we’re gonna be here waiting for a while.

Passed my test today.
In my interview, my COPR wasn't required. My proof of language was asked for though, so I showed my original degree certificate.
There wasn't a stamp in my passport for one of the vacation dates I put on my application and the lady was fine with that as I guess it's common to not always get a stamp when going to the States.

Now I can stop constantly doing practice questions almost every day! I was worrying way too much.
Hi do you think that online practice help you a lot too ?

The online practice tests are good to help find the gaps in your knowledge. I strongly recommend reading the guide thoroughly at least once, because the practice tests won't cover everything.
