Thanks for the info. Coz i havent got GIC, but looks like there is a biased theory that lot of visas are approved if they have GIC, i know its mandatory for SPP. Jus double checking.

GIC is a manadate for SPP.. Not a requirement for Universities but yes an added advantage if u have it especially for applicants under General category Applying for Colleges.

Just showing them that we are more secured with our stay and expenses apart from showing Bank balances, etc,.

hi ...... finally ..... my application from 21st March got approved ))) Waiting for passport. it took exactly 2 months - 9 weeks ( applied online. non spp, no agent. Delhi)

His application was aprooved along with mine - only problem he is in South Africa now , so VFS gave me email to request for extention of passport submiting period and hipefully they will allow, so in 6 weeks will submit his passport and end of July will GOOOOO ))

Yeah now u talking :)) nothing like both applications getting approved. Double Congratulations... I should have applied for my hubby too but we were advised not to, coz of my gap"(.. Anyway don't worry dear by the grace of God even that will work out fine and smooth .. Glad they gave you the option to extend Happy Days ahead All the best!! Njoy!!!

What? Offer letter as in deferred admission letter is a must, not just for CIC but for you too as a proof that your College as deferred ur admission and that your seat is confirmed for Sept intake and that your semester fee too has been adjusted accordingly. Ask Ur agent to show you the communication from college stating it is not required.. He might just be wiping off his hands.. Pls directly contact ur college tonight with ur student id number and find out for your self.. If tomorrow CIC asks if you have deferred or not? What is the answer ur agent plans to give? Wait lemme go now to the college? And every college has a rule like mine says within 18days from the 10th day of classes starting i have to defer else our request will not be accepted. Pls immediately start working on it..hope its not too late unless the requirements of your college are really as mentioned by ur agent.

Hello Friends..
I need your help..

I applied paper based student Visa application on April 20, 2018, in Delhi VFS under General Category.

Till date I haven't received any update from Embassy except those acknowledgement letters. Even I've also linked my application to online account and nothing is updated there. No medical passed Or Not started reviewing my eligibility. NO UPDATES.

I am very much worried.. Zaada nhi to.. atleast medical should have been passed by now... It's been a more than one month.. Guys plz lemme know who is also facing a same picture..
