Police Clearance Certificate - Travel to India before submission of ITA

Hi All,

I have obtained my Invitation to Apply for Express Entry program. I currently reside in US and was planning to obtain my Indian police clearance certificate. For police clearance certificate from India, I understand that once I obtained the clearance certificate I should not travel to India for it to be valid. However I have to travel to India before I can complete my express entry ITA process.

Can you advise me if I can obtain my police certificate from Indian embassy or do I need to obtain it from my district police station in India.

Apply for PCC from the Indian embassy in US, after coming back.

Obtain PCC from Indian consulate in US after you return from India.
